Price range and type of hair that you have.

I have long, naturally curly hair and wanted to wear it natural most days. I bought a Diva Curl hair dryer from Ulta and love it. It also has a regular nozzle to dry/style it when I want to go with a straight or sleek style.

I wouldn't mind a Dyson hairdryer in the near future, but they are expensive and first model generation right now. Maybe QVC will have one as a TSV, then I would be tempted.

I am hard on hair dryers and need a salon quality brand.

I have short hair and it doesn't take long to dry my hair. I go with the cheapest. No way am I'm paying $100 for a dryer. I don't need any special technology.

I have a Supersolano($100), a T3 Evolution ($200 and way better than the T3's out now) and a GHD ($250 plus $30 for the diffuser). My fav is the GHD. I tried the Dyson ($400) and did like a few of its features. My reason for not keeping it was the diffuser. I diffuse my hair 5-6 days/wk and I didn't care for the diffuser - way too shallow. I like a deep bowl diffuser, Dysons is way too flat.
