Sorry But I Have to Rave About This !!

I have finally had had it with my sagging neck , creams did nothing and believe me I've tried them all. I had read about cool sculpting and what it can do for the neck area. I finally gave in, it took 3 procedures and cost about 4,000, which I figured I've spent over the years for no results. It's amazing how the fat is removed and never comes back ! No down time and doesn't hurt at all. The only thing is it doesn't remove lines on the neck. So I had Ultherapy done on the neck area and it takes 3 months to see the full results and last about 3 years! After a week my skin is smoothing out and it looks great ! The only con about this is that it does hurt a little bit but in the name of beauty who cares, better then surgery !! I went to a very good plastic surgeon in New Haven , Ct on Audubon Street. She is beyond excellent and very gentle. I am using Dr. percone' cold Plasma Sub D . I just wanted to give my thumbs up for people who are interested in this. Please no comments that we should age gracefully, some of us like to feel good about ourselves, that's why we exercise and eat healthy !! Hope this has helped some of you who have had doubts

Blond, not that it really matters, but how long did each treatment take? I am on the thin side and I know for abdominal fat, there is some kind of diet to follow, but what about the neck?

I am getting really good results with the NuFace on my neck, but I am keeping all options open. I will never be a candidate for cosmetic surgery so non-invasive procedures are attractive to me. Are there any medical contraindications?

Glad it worked out and you love the results. Not sure what, if anything, I'd do if my neck sagged. I'll cross that bridge when it happens. I will say though that I feel good about myself whether I chose to exercise/eat good or not. Thanks for the review.

45 minutes each time I had the Coolsculpting done and half an hour for the Ultherapy.

For my college reunion, I used that old trick of using surgical tape. Place a 1" piece of tape behind one ear under hairline pulling neck only slightly (you'll get the rest from other side). Place same amount of tape behind other ear and lightly pull the neck skin before covering w/ tape to hold. The trick is to not pull skin so tightly it looks artificial and also be sure the area you place the tape is free of any moisturizer or hair product that can could keep tape tightly in place. This surgical tape holds skin together after surgery instead of stitches to avoid any scarring and is very strong. After a night of dancing and sweating, the tapes were tightly in place and my neck looked 20 yrs. younger.

Shanus, that is a definite option for me. Eve Pearl is anti-plastic surgery and she wrote about her use of them on herself and advocates their use in her book.

She said it's available in beauty supply stores, but I have never seen them. I've asked and I might as well have been from Mars! Where do I get the tape? Is there a brand name?

The crazy thing is, some days are better than others....I don't know why. I just started using the NuFace trinity on my neck: it really did wonders on my jowls and marionette lines, so I'm going to give it time.

Please tell us more about the tape!

@Poodlepet2 I asked my pharmacist. I think it's also available at the dermatology offices and medispas. If yours don't have it, they can direct you to another source. Mine is not a brand name. It's right out of the operating room surgical tape on a roll.

@Blondbychoice, Good for you. You should do whatever you want to do with your face & body. It's yours. Thanks for the info. I never bought into neck cream but use an oil or night cream on it.

@Blondbychoice - first thing I would do if I won the lottery for sure! Kathie Lee Gifford showed herself getting this procedure (I believe it was Coolsculpt) on her show - her neck is looking much better. She said it is the one thing that really bothers her. I say good for you!

Several years ago I was given the options of having either the Ultherapy (ultrasound) or laser skin tightening procedures and I opted for the laser. Still looks good to me and I have no regrets. I never had an issue with fat on my neck, just a little sagging and a few wrinkles and now my neck and face look very refreshed and natural looking after those laser treatments. Had my eyes done, too, so everything matches.

" I probably wouldn't be bothered by some hurting but what does it feel like?

The Coolsculpting doesn't hurt but the Ultherapy does, feels like little bee stings.

I just use the clear breathable transpore surgical hypoallergenic tape from the drug store in the section with bandage tape, comes in a two pack. It stretches with movement yet stays put really well, if you wipe the skin with alcohol first letting dry completely It truly does take years off (:

I've been using this for years.Instant face lift ! With a little practice you get good at getting it just right for the look you want.
