Just like to add to my reply that the Paula Young catalogs are a great help in seeing how they look on and if it is a clip or comb hairpiece.....I do not like the shine on a new piece so I have used a light powdering with baby powder or hair spray....after several wearings they begin to look natural......Online you can see how they look as well.Customer service will be glad to help with suggestions on how to wear etc.Have always been very helpful....Even if you watch another show with hair pieces the placement and care will be the same.....If not use to wearing them it takes playing around with them moving up or down on the head. It really makes a huge difference how it looks on you when you find the right placement on your head high or lower......So nice in the hot summer and if you have to be in a meeting out the door in no time.

I have ordered several pony wraps from Paula Young online and have been very pleased with them. I order the white as my hair is white now. It is so nice to just put my hair up on my head and put on the wrap with a couple of bobbi pins. It looks just like my own hair but with more volume and style than I could ever do myself with my natural hair. My hair looks so great I hate to take the wrap off LOL!

Have any of you played around with hair pieces?

@SeaMaiden The only time I remember wearing a hairpiece was at my wedding...1969. My hair was long enough & thick enough to do a bun-looking thing on top of my head, but all the curls would have taken an entire box of bobbi pins to hold it up. I purchased a hairpiece that clips on w/ a comb. I gathered all my hair in a ponytail holder & tucker it under the hairpiece. The "crown" & veil attached to that. I also took the hairpiece on my honeymoon. After a day of swimming and wet hair, just pulled my hair back & up, hairpiece on & ready to go for dinner & evening out. Quite convenient.

Yes I have, although not recently. My hair is very short now so I haven't tried any. I live very far from stores & can't get a good match by mail. When I did wear hairpieces it was the best & easiest. I would use again & may as I am moving soon to a large city. No one ever knew I was wearing a hairpiece, although the ones I had were human hair and I really liked them. Wish I still had the one that was my favorite. I could have my hairdresser dye it if I changed hair color. Didn't have the selection then as they do now in synthetic but it is still hard to get a good match for reddish brown hair.

I wear Paula Young hairpieces all the time my color is 60 which is white....I do find some are lighter in color than some in the same color but different styles. If I use shimmering light shampoo it will make my hair have a different hue so its best for me just to use a regular shampoo and the pieces will match my hair....Bought from other companies and the quality of the hair is just not as good as Paula. Im really into hair scrunchies (hair on a elastic band) love those so much....Life is so much fun with these and out the door in minutes.....

I'm really interested in some of the Paula Young's pieces but her website is very limited as far as getting a good look at those pieces. Pics don't show what the actual piece looks like and there are no videos either. Sadly I won't be buying.

They have a return policy, but if you only pay a few dollars for a piece, it isn't worth retuning them to get your money back.
