I love this concept/channel. There's so much learned through the tutorials, and I love Elise and Alberti.

The only thing is... the lighting. It seems a little too harsh, especially the background. Someone at Q, please adjust this. I've noticed for a while. <3

I wish they'd do more closeup & detailed shots of the the items. It seems like the hosts just hold up the product closer to the camera, like that really helps!

The BeautyIQ channel needs some serious fixing if it's going to get any viewers. Get rid of the horizontal chyron ad banners as they take up too much real estate and block the view of the products and the presentations.

Show a variety of beauty products. Presenting the same lines and products over and over again is boring. For a big company QVC sure doesn't have much. Philosophy, IT Cosmetics, Clarisonic, Dyson hair dryer -- boring!

Sorry, but even Alberti and Elise can't save this youtube social media wannabe.

This channel drives me crazy! It IS very You Tube-ish. I cannot stand the banner across the bottom of the screen. They never show close ups of the product or color swatches. Showing me your arm from across the room on a chopped up screen does NOT help.

And what is up with the constant shine on everyones faces? Overkill on highlighter?

I'm to the point where I really don't enjoy watching it anymore because of these things.

I actually watch a good amount of youtube tutorials (it's become the bane of my beauty researching now that you can tell how formulaic and inauthentic they are), and I don't think this channel is anything like beauty vlogging at all.

I think there was a little of a "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" in terms of the lighting and camera work. That does bother me quite a bit. What I like about QVC is the way it showed a product that I haven't had a chance to see in stores. by changing the way they show the product on BeautyiQ, it makes it less informative.

I like that the chatter is a little less formal than the typical resentations on QVC. It feels like less of a hard sell and it makes beauty feel more fun. I want products that work and have a good value, but I don't want to feel like I'm watching a guthy renker commercial every time. That channel already exists.
