i have a Bella Brush . it has an adjustable temp setting but the bristles get very hot.

i think it is damaging to the hair. i have only used it 2 times. i would use my flat iron before the bella brush.

my hair is long, past my bra strap and thick, but dry and fine and prone to frizz

I'm thinking about getting a hot air brush. I have dry wavy hair and I thought this would help in getting a more professional style and taming my frizz. I air dry my short hair. Any recommendations???

I ordered one from Walgreen's online with a 20% coupon so it was only $20. It's the one my hairdresser has and recommended. It's Conair Volume Series Hot Air Curling Brush. I don't use it for volume, just to do a little smoothing and curling my hair under on the days I don't wash and blow dry. My hair is fine, wavy and shoulder length.

I've had a John Frieda hot air brush that I got at the drugstore a few years ago (CVS or Walgreens). I use it when my hair is 95% or totally dry, sectioning my hair off. It gives me smoothness and volume. I have finer, thinner hair, and it works for me. It's one of the tools that I use on my hair.

I use the Revlon Ionic Hot Air Brush 1200 watts. It has two brushes, 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch. It gets plenty hot to tame my very curly thick hair. I've been using this for several years. I've tried others, but this is my go to. You can get it at WM for $20. I bought mine at Ulta on sale with a coupon.

I say don't do it. I have dry curly hair myself and I stopped brushing it about 5 years ago, I use a comb only, and now my hair is almost to my waist for the first time in my life
