Received my Sephora Play Box

So this is my second one. I can't remeber all the brand names, but I got:

A pretty pink Sephora lip gloss. It's a pretty color but not pigmented enough for me. Nice for the weekends or when you don't want a heavy makup look.

An illuminating primer. I don't think I'll ever use it. While I do like the Celebration Illuminiation foundation, I don't think I need the additional shine from a primer.

A moisturizer

A mask

A nice perfume sample.

So far, after two boxes, I can honestly say the only things I'm really happy about are the perfume samples. I like both fragrences I've received and since I don't wear perfume that often, those little sample bottles last for me.

I think I'm going to cancel. That $120 per year can buy me a lot of other products I know I'll use.

I received mine yesterday also. Pretty much what you received. Glamglow in gravity mud. Used it last night, it's a gentle peel off mask. Didn't really notice anything extra ordinary about it. Wouldn't purchase the full size. The Replica fragrance I got is the In the Fireplace which is not really my favorite. On me it smells warm, sweet and woodsy. I am not a fan of the Laura Mercier eye shadow stick. It doesn't last without an eye shadow primer. The gloss is kinda sticky and sheer. The only product I like is the Cover FX primer.

Yeah, I cancelled mine, too. It's just not worth it for samples that I rarely use. I had my subscription for around 6 months or so, and it didn't lead me to or deter me from buying any products. I was actually most pleased with this month's box, but I still wasn't wowed by any of them. Oh well!

@Dusty1 My husband said that the Replica smelled like burnt wood

It said for man or woman but neither one of us liked it.

I haven't received mine yet, but I'm getting the version with the GLAMGLOW YOUTHMUD, and the fragrance sample will be Stella McCartney Pop. I think my Sephora Lip Gloss color is supposed to be "Indian Sari," but I'm not completely sure. My box # is 985.

According to My Subscription Addiction's blog, the 4 box variations are:

- Box ending in #977 will receive GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment, Estee Edit Disolve the Drama Makeup Remover + Cleanser (instead of the Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet), and Stella McCartney Pop fragrance sample. Plus, the other items mentioned in the previous posts.

- Box ending in #985 will receive GLAMGLOW YOUTHMUD Tinglexfoliate Treatment, and Stella McCartney fragrance sample. Plus, the other items mentioned in the previous posts.

Very strange thing. I received my box earlier this week, but this morning I had an email that my box shipped on 11/17. No tracking for it yet. Not sure why they'd send me two boxes for this month, especially when I cancelled. So far, only one charge to my bank account.

Interesting to read this. I was just seriously thinking about signing up for this box, I already get the Macy Beauty Box and I am very happy with it. So I thought maybe of signing up for also Sephora, but maybe I will opt to get Ipsy instead of Sephora and continue to get my Macy Box.....I have been very pleased with my Macy's box....

@CANDLEQUEEN i've been getting the ipsy one for about 5 months now. thinking about cancelling. i think for the most part, the make up offerings are cheap stuff. i like getting a beauty box, tho. maybe i will look at the macy's one.

@MercysMom, I hung in for a year getting the boxes but then cancelled my subscription. I thought $10 a month wasn’t worth it, getting deluxe sizes of products I didn’t even want.

@kittyloo. I really like the Macy box.....It is a nice assortment each month. I think based on what I am reading, is sticking just with the Macy Box for now.....One of my co workers gets the Ipsy box and she said she ends up with too many highlighters that she doesn't use.....
