Went to place order with the flash easy pay tonight

Went to purchase the IT Cosmetics pallete and makeup brush roll for my mom for Christmas and a set of polar fleece sheets. Well I guess qvc has changed their policy. I don't have a CC. I have the chase liquid visa that I use for purchases. Well since it is considered a prepaid card it won't let me do easy pay. Has any one else noticed this change. I always used this card with easy pay before. Bummer. I understand why they did it but I guess I won't be purchasing what I wanted.

I am not going to purchase if I can't do easy pay. Oh well. It was just a extra gift for my mom since she already knows what I got her. I wanted to get her something that would be a suprise. I ordered the IT lipsticks not to long ago on easy pay with this card. Just disapointed but understand why they did it.

Ok I got it to work. In order for it to work I had to do each order seperatly. Not sure why but it worked that way. Maybe it's because the entire order was above a certain amount when I did all three together.

A prepaid card is a form of debit card so technically you should not be able to use easy pay with it.

People use debit cards all the time on here for easy pay. I got it to work.

A prepaid card does not have the backing of a bank to pay the overdraft like a debit card does, plus it would be auto denied and not accepted then eventually denied. Some men did a scam on Disney where they used a prepaid card to secure the rooms and tickets, then billed everything to the room and auto checked out. When Disney billed, it was denied. They did this many times before Disney changed its policy with prepaid cards. Chase liquid is a better form of prepaid, but still the same. Each bank is different in how it will support an overdraft, but most over the counter prepaid won't...bank/CC company tied cards are a bit different, which is the privilege of having the card and paying the fee.

The prepaid card from stores like Green Dot, Paypal, and others are used by inmates to pay for contraband and scams. Those would certainly be denied for flex pay. Paypal is trying to change it, as they didn't seem to be aware of how they were being used. Green Dot has been shut down because of this misuse. Most of the prepaid CC you get at Walmart/dollar stores fall into this category.
