anyone else experiencing a scrunched up beauty iq channel on 318 on direct tv? I emailed QVC about it. It's so annoying bc I wanna watch this channel.

DirecTV is probably not broadcasting in HD

Yes, I had that problem, too. To solve this problem press the "FORMAT" button on your remote until the screen changes.

If you are watching one channel and change the format does it change for all?

I have DirecTV I don't even know if I have a format on my remote.

I found the channel on Directv last night and it is a scrunhced up picture. I just assmed that it's because it's not in High Def. Probably not going to be watching too much of it.

Yes, when you change the format this will affect how some but not all channels are seen. Changing the format mainly affects the non-hd channels. Format includes resolution as well as size of picture...you have choices to pick from.

If you have a smart tv and if it's connected to the internet, you might be able to stream the Beauty IQ channel in high-def. If someone here has done this please let us know if you can see it in high-def.

Yes it's HD on my Smart TV. It streams HD on my roku and my Chromecast as well.

My DirecTV remote doesn't have a format button.

I have a smart TV but I don't use it like a smart TV

I have an HD receiver but no DVR or anything like that.

The Beauty channel doesn't seem as clear & crisp as my other HD channels.

I emailed QVC and they said they would forward it on. I have tried changing the format to no avail. I have an hd tv. So frustrating. I do actually want to see this channel bc it is makeup stuff!!

When you press Format, does a menu come up?

I may be able to access that particular menu through other means.

DISPLAY

VIDEO

SCREEN FORMAT - choose STRETCH
