I have been using the Borghese mud masks for a year or two now, I have (had) a red nose and redness on my cheeks (it's not rosacea). My skins redness has diminished considerably, my complexion is more even toned (I'm light/medium coloring). I LOVE their masks, I use the active on my forehead, chin and upper lip. On my cheeks I rotate between the active, brillante & firma. My nose I rotate with the active and purifacante. My neck I rotate between the active & firma. It's hard for me to not order the today's special because the price it such a good deal but I'm going to try to resist the temptation. So, in answer to your question, I use them and have had successful results, I've had the redness in my face since a teenager (I'm in my mid 50's) and now when I look in the mirror red skin isn't jumping out at me :-)

@hopi Yes, I've used the Fango "active". It is deep cleansing, and does work, but keep in mind that you're supposed to use a lot, like you're frosting a cake. You also don't want to allow it to completely dry and become rock hard on your face. To prevent this, keep a misting bottle with you and give yourself a spritz every now and then while you're relaxing and letting the mask do its thing. The one thing I didn't like was the sponge that came with my mask, it felt rough and scratchy on my face and my face usually isn't that sensitive.

One other thing, keep a couple of dark colored washcloths dedicated for your masking sessions (unless all you have are darks). The Fango Active mask will permanently discolor light colored washcloths. I keep a stack of white washcloths for my face and take a fresh one each time I cleanse. I chose white since they went with the decor and I could easily bleach them as needed. The Fango Active mask will not rinse completely from a light washcloth and they won't even bleach back to white again. I can always pick out the ones in the stack that have been used with a Fango Active mask, they remain dingey looking. The other option is to get right in the shower and rinse it off that way.

I love the Borghese masks. I have used the active (army green one) for decades.

On clean skin I slather any of the masks on (sometimes I use several on different parts of my face and body) wait about 5 minutes and hop into the shower and rinse off. IMO they are s one of the easiest masks to use.

OP if you are curious and in need of great masks that are easy to use , i say go for it!
