Paula's Choice Resist Brightening Essence- anyone try this?

It may be too new- not sure how long it has been out. Anyone order it or try it?

Wow, that is new. I hadn't heard of it before. I may have to try that one out along with the Radiance Renewal Mask that recently came out. I haven't tried that one, either.

She has been coming out with a lot of new products. I like her old standby's -- BHA, Retinol and her serums.

@ChynnaBlueI don't use traditional masks so I am actually interested in her renewal "mask" because you just leave it on overnight and that is it- easy enough to do, lol. So I plan to try the "mask" at some point but I am most likely going to try this new Essence. It has some great ingredients in it.

I've been using her products for a long time like you have and I actually like this change of bringing out new products because although I love her BHA products, I've never really liked most of her serums as they either break me out or are too slick feeling, which I don't like (due to the high silicone content). So it is nice she is starting to do more serum type stuff- like this, the redeness relief repairing serum and the line minimizing serums. These are much lighter serums and absorb quickly and easily and I like them so much more than her "old" serums.

I just keep hoping at some point she does a facial cleansing oil as I am sure she will do it well.

You can use traditional masks in non-traditional ways, too! I don't like washing my face, putting a mask on, then washing the mask off - that feels like a waste of my time. I'm really glad sleeping masks and sheet masks are getting popular.

But I do use a lot of traditional masks to spot treat overnight. I've been using the Origins Out of Trouble and Clear Improvements masks since I was in my 20s and they're easy to use as spot treatments on trouble areas when and where needed.

I just ordered this and the new Renewal Mask. I use and love the Pure Radiance Skin Brightening treatment already. I don't have a wrinkle problem so my goal is to always have bright and glowing skin.

I am like you @j-lou in that I don't have a wrinkle issue so my goal too is that I am on the quest for glowing skin. I think it is pretty darn good right now but I think I am going to compare this essence to the vitamin c serum and see which gives me the better brightening effect. So since I used up the vitamin C serum I have, I will start on the essence. I had a 20% off coupon so I picked up the essence and a few other items I needed to replenish (mascara and BHA).

I actually thought about getting the mask but it seems to me that the Essence and the Mask have the same ingredients for the most part so didn't feel I need both. I liked the idea of the mask because I usually don't use anything but the skin recovery moisturizer at night so something with an extra "boost" sounded nice but, again, the Essence seems to have the same ingredients so I can use that at night.

Mine will be here today! Love how fast I get my PC orders.

Thanks for the info on this one @HappyDaze! I am going to give it a whirl. I have the mask, but I only use it once, maybe twice a week. I'll probably incorporate this into my am routine, as I don't use a Vit C serum at the moment. I found they either didn't make much of a difference, or they were irritating. So this might be a good way to have a bit in my routine, along with some other good ingredients. Can't wait to see how it works, along with everyone else's results!!

Yes!! So far, I'm really liking it. I don't see much of a difference, but it feels nice, and I have had zero irritation, which is obviously a major plus. I'm trying to streamline my am skincare routine, but this one will definitely stay! Also, I bought some of the Kiko eye shadow sticks and I can't wait to get them. Thanks for the heads up I'm those!!

@FUTURE yes, I am pleased no breakouts or irritation at all. Sometimes things with higher HA will cause me to break out (like her HA booster- can't use although it made my skin look nice but it also caused a pimple or two, something that RARELY happens for me) but fortuntely this does not. I must say, I am surprised at the results I am getting so quickly! It works better for me than a vitamin C serum does in terms of evening out skintone and brightening. And although my skin has always been really soft, I swear it is now even softer. It feels plumper maybe? I don't know how else to describe it but so happy I tried it.

Oh and I hope you like the kiko milano sticks! I mean, even if they don't work out, at least they didn't cost too much so you aren't out alot, right?

I am really liking it too. I don't think I will be purchasing the C15 Booster anymore. When I tried her HA in the past it made me breakout but I tried a drop mixed in with this and no problems. In the morning I have actually been mixing the HA, Oil Booster and the Essence with great results. This new product definitely is a hit with me.
