Also wrote to Consult Beaute. I received the 3 PC Regenerol kit...serum, pads, and night cream. I'm really liking all three!! However, the jar of Regenerol cream had a BIG air pocket. After I tapped the jar down, I remained with about 1/2 full. Asked Consult beaute to please address this. Haven't heard from them. EVINE told me send it back. I now wrote to Evine again, and explained it's inconvenient and not my fault...receiving a product not in quantity I paid for. I hoped for a replacement of any size. Also..the set is not on site, so I cannot leave a review. It's a real shame, because I really like the products. The cream is especially nice. And very hydrating. Lines are nicely plumped and smoothed. I'm not easily impressed either, but I will not order if they don't make some correction.

hmmm.how is this Evine's fault? They don't fill the jars for vendors. they only sell them, and they told you to send it back for a replacement. They would not charge return shipping for that either, so while you may have to wait for a replacement jar, I still don't understand why you're blaming Evine?

What exactly are you wanting from them?

Dazlin-it's sold by weight not volume.
Well, I also thought possibly it's sold by weight, but got upset seeing only 1/2 jar left. I'm happy most of you explained that...makes me feel a bit better. I'm seeing nice results from the products, so, like I said, it would be too bad if they didn't address this. Now...for those of you that think this is a joke, or I'm looking for for a free product, perhaps, that's the way YOU operate. You offer no quality information...I don't know why you bother to respond. I do however appreciate those of you who share KNOWLEDGE!! I didn't blame Evine either...simply asking they compensate me for a vendor they represent. I did say, I wrote to Consult Beaute. I would have been happy with a small sample size...it's principle. Anyway, if they explain as some of you say...it's packaged by weight ...I'll be take that, and be satisfied.

@Dazlin their packages are in ounces. Ounces are measures of weight, not volume. I believe it the package stated fluid ounces it would be volume. So others are right, it is weight not volume so your jar won't necessarily be full.

In B&M stores you couldn't walkn in with a receipt and say this product is defective, but I like it so I want to keep it and not pay for it. They too, would either refund your money or offer a replacement. Your inconvenience would be going to that store. In this case you bought from a shopping channel and would have to go to the post office.

Imagine if 50 customers called and said they wanted compensation because they had a jar half full of something. A company would not be in business for very long. You may not operate that way as your posts says, but as you said "others so". How would any company be able to differentiate between the honest ones and those who just want something for nothing? Nordstrom would happily replace the jar or refund the money but not give you some kind of compensation for something they sell either. And they have excellent CS.

In this instance, I'm not sure what else you expect Evine to do for you. They told you to send the product back which is what you should do if you are unhappy. They would not charge you return s/h and if you paid s/h for the item to be sent to you, I'm sure they'd refund that as well. Then they could send you another jar. I would think if you contacted Consult about this, they may require a return of the jar as well.

I know it's a bummer to see something like this. I've bought eye creams and wihle I know they are X number of ounces, the jar looks huge because it has a false bottom to it. I know I'm not really getting ripped off but that huge jar bothers me. LOL

Or ever open a bag of potato chips? Most of the bag is air. Makes you feel ripped off.

It's easy to target a company or their customer service department when things don't go our way, but Evine really hasn't done anything wrong. Inconvenience isn't a reason to be able to keep a product AND get a refund or replacement.

As for the packaging, air pockets can happen in plain jars and bottles. I'm sure that in the jar filling area of the manufacturing operation the machines are calibrated to dispense a specific amount of product but the jars are a little bigger than to hold that exact amount, in order to allow for air pockets and settling.

Why do you write to them when you can pick up your phone and call? A phone call has much more impact than an email or letter which can easily be blown off.

I would assume that Evine can't do anything until they actually see the original product. As someone else mentioned, there is no way for them to know if the jar really is lacking in product if they can not see it for themselves.

You mentioned them sending you a sample size jar to account for the difference, Two issues with that that come to mind: again, how do they know the jar was less than full if they don't actually see it and secondly, are sample sized jars even made for this product?

I don't think anyone was trying to offend you but just trying to point out that if you won't send the product back then that how can they really do anything? Of course you know that you are not trying to cheat them out of something but how do they know that? By electing not to ship it back, that might arouse their concerns even more.

I understand the frustration but try to look at it from a company's view point. Both Evine and Consulte Beauty would want to see the original before trying to compensate a customer for missing product.

I do agree that you would be more apt to understand their position and your options if you handled the problem by phone and actually speaking with a CS Rep.

I find emails to be really lacking in CS issues the majority of the time.

Dazlin, you should call Consult Customer service. Their phone number is on their packages.
