It Cosmetics 3 Hour Show

I saw in the program guide IT Cosmetics will have a show on tonight from 7:00-10:00. Now I like the line but 3 hours seems at least 1 hour too much. It seems the only beauty shows I see anymore are IT and Josie Maran. I miss the days of BE and Bobbi Brown. I don't even think Laura Geller is on as often as the other 2 lines.

I would be OK with it if I knew there would be something new and innovative upcoming. Sadly it will rehash the same ol' same ol'

Don't get me wrong, I love IT but will stay with a line if it keeps bringing new stuff in!

I've complained about this before. I do own a few IT products, as I have a variety, but it's definitely overkill. I also agree that they show the same products over and over.

I agree. I think QVC giving to much air time to IT.

I like to see more up coming brands like Eve Pearl or other frash brands.

Be careful because they sometimes change the name of an oldie or tell you it is the first time this is offered in a giant size and they say they now have added something (they call a different name) so you get confused and buy it again... , you think you are buying something new.............. I can't tell you how many items I have bought the same after hearing a new, "We are sooo excited" sales pitch.

I used to eagerly look forward to BE, and they'd bring in new stuff quite often. I wonder why there is so little variety in the beauty area, cosmetics I mean.

I'd like a three hour show with nothing but cosmetics. No hair dryers or skin cremes. Just all things make up.

Remember the glory days, with Leslie on multiple times over a weekend, with one of those days featuring the TSV? The two-day anniversary shows where they offered great kits that flew out the door? Loose minerals? Now we get shadow sticks, solid pressed foundations, and gel liners, and are lucky to get one hour a month, while we're ombarded with IT. Don't get me wrong -- I love IT brushes, and their shadows are pretty nice, but I want my BE back.

I can't watch any IT show anymore. Whether it's Jamie, the other rep with dark hair, or the blonde - they are just little parrots. They bob up and down bending at the knees, saying "Your most beautiful....", "Your lips/eyes/skin only better...". Just change face but the pitch and mannerisms (body movements, big eyes, facial expressions) are identical - like some kind of weird robot. There isn't anything natural about them. Drives me bonkers!

You are so right. Does everyone know that Jamie Kern Lima SOLD IT. That's why she is not on QVC any more.

Seeing IT and Josie Maran way too much. I don't watch QVC as much as I did. Between some of the hosts not letting the vendors getting a word in and too much of the same thing, it is not the same as it used to be. Unfortunately, everything changes eventually. I think they are getting too many brands. When that happens, some of the brands and quality are bound to suffer.

I could not watch the one woman with her eyebrows shaved off (looked horrible from the side) and drawn on at least an inch too high! She had a full on shock and awe look and she made me nervous. Talking a mile a minute and those brows.......yikes.

Lol, I agree with you. They are just barely better than Jamie was. I always had to laugh about Jamie's comments about eyebrows. She said they equate to beauty. Lol, well, every time I would see her (and even in the latest pic with the baby) tne first thing I see are her awful drawn on eyebrows tnat look so fake.
