Just ordered Doll 10 HydroGel Foundation

I don't know what took me so long to order, I have been meaning to and finally did it. I ordered it in Light and I am hoping that will work for me. I was thinking that the med might be a little too dark. Anyway, if I like the formulation and the light is a little to light, I will order the medium too. That way I can customize the color if I need to.

I usually don't wear a full coverage foundation because I don't like the feel of it and I don't need a lot of coverage but so many here and in the reviews said it wasn't heavy or cakey so I really wanted to give it a try.

I have to say, I am pretty excited to try it out! Is everyone who loved it in the beginning still loving it?

I am on AD for the Doll foundation, last Doll TSV and love this foundation. Between the foundation and matching concealer there isn't a problem with concealing anything and in fact I don't have to use the concealer.

I use light, am fair with a dry complexion and this works very well for me. It is between a matte and dewy look leaning more a bit towards matte but very natural.

I too got light and this is a tad lighter than most other light foundations I have but is very nice and very natural looking.

I am glad I went on AD for her TSV kit.

I do prefer to use my IT round fluffy (duo ended) brush or one of my Real Techniques brushes, either the expert face brush or the RT stippling brush, these 3 work very well.

The brush that comes with it is nice but lays down too much foundation for me.

Go easy, it's easy to get way too much out of the tube so be careful since this doesn't take much and once dries(dries very quickly) it stays put till I wash it off a good 12 to 14 hours later.

No sadly I don't. My friend gave me hers because she didn't really like it and I too notice that it seems to really accentuate any dry areas you might have. The color match (fair) is PERFECT though but the formula is just okay. It certainly is NOT full coverage if you are expecting it to be, but that was fine with me since I don't need or want full coverage- I prefer sheer to light and that is pretty much what I find with this. It does not feel heavy on, imo.

I know many say that it does not last through a normal work day either- it actually disappears halfway through the day.

Both my girlfriend and I have moved on and I think I am done trying Doll 10 products now. I've tried so many of them and not a single one actually works well enough for me to repurchase so I just need to cut my losses, lol.

I hope you like it though!

I sure will @HappyDaze! It is good to see you too. I feel the same about your posts. I will often be reading a thread, getting ready to comment and you will have posted something very similar to what I was going to say! That has happened quite a few times.

I have never tried any Dalton products and to be honest I was scared it was going to be heavy because it can look like that on tv but so many said it wasn't. I have been wearing a really light coverage lately and some days I just use a little concealer and do a little eye makeup, blush and gloss. It was so hot and humid here this summer that foundation was the last thing I wanted to wear. I haven't bought any makeup in a while, not even a lipgloss and Friday night I just had the urge to get some stuff. I got this and 4 nail polishes!! Woo-hoo! Good to see you, have a great night!

I love this foundation. I bought it on AD when it was the TSV. I have quite a bit of redness and I get great coverage; however, I put it on with my fingers. I find that the brush seems to brush away what I have just put on. This is the first AD makeup kit that I haven't canceled after the initial delivery.

this is also my first AD that I haven't cancelled but may cancel the Dec shipment only because both the lipstick and the blush look like they may be too dark, won't cancel my AD, just the Dec shipment.

I will say this is the first purchase I have made in this line and only did this because I got one of her lipsticks with the gloss on the other end here at QVC and love it. The one that came in this TSV isn't as nice, is more drying than the one I have and love so I don't use the lipstick end but do use the gloss end. The one I already had is great, not at all drying and is a go to lipstick for me.

@Irshgrl31201 , I too will look forward to your review once you get this Doll foundation. I have very dry mature skin and for me anyway this isn't at all drying nor does it show up any fine lines/wrinkles etc but of course we are all so very different.

I find it runs a tad light but light still works for me. If you don't want it heavy at all use a stippling brush. I use my Real Techniques stippling brush a lot but also use my IT double ended brush, round soft fluffy one, very nice.

I only put a small dab on the top of the brush than dot around my face than blend in using a circular motion and do till well blended.

For me anyway I find it lasts till I wash it off which makes it last from 5 or 6 PM till at least 7 AM the next morning or later.

While this isn't a full coverage it is a lot more than a TM, more of a medium coverage I would say, on me anyway.

Being my skin is very dry I do use a decent moisturizer under it or my oil of olay regenerest serum which works well for me.

Being you have 30 days to experiment try different ways to apply and what you put or don't put under it.

Go easy the first time so you don't get too much out because sometimes way too much will come out, does for me sometimes and all I use is a tiny amount on the top of my brush for my whole face, one small drop.

I will say I got the Josie Maran last TSV and while I do like the milk and the foundation, all I use in this kit it is much more ''dewy'' looking than the Doll. Sometimes when I get out in the light and look in the car mirror I look really sort of greasy looking with the JM but it is also nice if I can get just that tiny bit and not use too much.

The Doll is more natural, not at all dewy but yet not totally matte either, more natural but I do like both.

So, will be watching for your review.
