I'm a self-tan junkie. Self-tan all year long. The upkeep no longer bothers me as I now have faux tanning down to a science and can do it pretty quickly with excellent results. Use BE's Faux Tan exclusively but sometimes switch out with St. Tropez.

Anyway.....in the past I've always just rinsed my BE tanning brushes and my St. Tropez Mitt out with water ONLY. Tonight I decided to put a dab of Anti-Bacterial Soap on the brush and the mitt. I rinsed both out really well until I saw no more suds. The St. Tropez Mitt is turning GREEN where the brown stains were on the mitt!!

Layed the BE brush on its side on a paper towel to dry and I noticed the excess water on the paper towel is a light shade of green as well!!

YIKES!! Should I be concerned about this?? Does anyone have any idea why that is happening? Never experienced this before when I rinsed with just water.

Furthermore, would you continue to use this particular brush or mitt when they dry??

Thanks sooo much for any info and/or advice!

---Italia!
