Doll10 Blush Contour Palette vs IT Cosmetics Blush Contour Palette

I purchased the IT Cosmetics Contour Blush Palette and received it a few weeks ago. It's a good palette, but I have to say I don't like the brush at all that came with it. It's a wide thin bristle brush that's just too hard to work with in my opinion. The colors are nice in it but with the brush that was supplied it's just too hard to use to give a good contour looked. It's much better used with a round brush. I can contour much better using that kind of a brush then a flat wide thin bristle brush.

I just received the Doll10 Blush Contour Palette and first off the package itself is plastic made better then the IT Cosmetics one and it gives you a full mirror in it. The IT cosmetics one is a heavy cardboard container. The colors in the Doll10 are soft blush colors but the one color of pink is very pigmented so use a light hand with it. The instructions on the Doll10 palette is engraved on the bottom of the palette instead of a pamphlet tucked underneath the IT palette. The instructions are easy to follow on the Doll10 and the brush is way superior to the IT palette. The bush is round and full of soft bristles that are angled making the blush so easy to apply. My first time out with the Doll10 palette made my face look like I had very high cheek bones. It was fabulous. Both color blushes are great. One is a very soft pink color and the other is more pigmented. Using the round angled brush made it so simple to contour with. This is a great product. I'm happy that Doris made the palette out of hard plastic. Feels and looks like you spent some money for this one.

Out of the two purchased, hands down I would have picked the palette made by Doll10.

@BlingQueen022 That was a great review of the Doll 10. Makes me want to buy it and I don't do any contouring! LOL Don't get me wrong, I should but I just don't.

I even went and looked at it. It looks really nice. I'm so darned fair and pink, I have my doubts if I could pull off putting anything brown on my face. Any comments on that?

@mima Happy Saturday MIMA. I wear a medium foundation. I use the lightest contour color in the palette because I hate to see lines on my face, lol. What I do is use the blush first and then use the highlighter with a very light hand. I use the lightest contour color but when I do, I just tap it on the color and then apply it. It looks very natural. I think the most important thing is the brush tool itself. That makes the magic happen. The one from IT was a very wide thin horizontal brush and to me, it just won't work properly. The brush from the Doll10 collection was much better. I don't contour all the time either. When I do, I found this one from Doll10 fast and easy. A light hand is the key and you can rarely make mistakes. It's just a matter of practice and how much of the product you apply. It's really forgiving this product. I love it. By the way, if you use a light color contour and a light hand you really don't see brown on your face. Afterwards, you'll see an illusion of high cheek bones.
