I have used them in the past and I liked them a lot. I can't say that I am faithful to any one brand of makeup: I always try "the latest". What attracted me to her is that she offered pressed minerals instead of loose: she also had foundation in liquid form. I can't speak for ingredient s in her line now, and if that's an issue for you, investigate. As with any other MU line, you don't know unless you try.

All that being said, I did use her line and I liked it and may be revisiting it, but it's on my agenda to go through my drawers and throw out stuff I don't use. I am an addict!!!! You can never be too rich or too thin or have too much makeup!

I love the mineral foundation. Have not tried any of her other products but that one is a winner (for me anyway).

I've used them and thought they were good quality. I had trouble finding the exact items I needed, tho she offers a wide variety! I give it two thumbs up!

*does not overwhelm with 6 or 8 types of the same product one just slightly different from the other.

*community oriented

Cons:

*price - rarely has sales or discounts, no loyalty discounts

*samples are not readily available

* while I wear little make-up I want what I do wear to count, eye shadows are a bit pale for me, I want Plum, she offers Lavender.

All said I regularly use 2 of her products and am pretty sold on them.

This is a line sold in my dermatologist office, so that makes me not want to purchase. Overpriced. I never buy my skincare or makeup there.

@MomCat Her products are worth every penny. They last a long time.

You can also buy them from her website. Also, their are other places that sell her products.'

I buy mine at my beauty shop, it is nice because I can try colors before I buy.

And yes, I love some of her products and wouldn't be without them.

I have all her brushes. The best ever. "the Handi" is my favorite of all time.

@Drythe Jane's products have been having alot of sales lately on dermstore.com and beauty.com and pharmaca.com. All three just had 20 and 25% off. Also, her products were recently on Hautelook. I think they are starting to allow sales more. In this economy, if you don't adjust your prices a bit or allow sales, you are going to start losing alot of sales.

@Sister Golden Hair Thanks-I was wondering about the eyelid primer? The reviews on make up alley were not good-but I just want it as is-not with eye shadow over it. Her products kind of overwhelmed me at Soft Surroundings. So many. I pretty much wanted everything. No can do.

@Judaline I haven't heard of that product. I do use the Circle/Delete that I like for under the eyes.

I like Bobbi Brown's cream eyeshadow that I use alone or for a base. This is a great product and you can use bone for a primer.

Why don't you goggle to see if there is someone in your area that sells her products.

It is nice to see things in person.

I do love her eyeshadows and have never had a problem when just using alone.

There is a kit that you can purchase with several different products, kind of like a try-me on her website. That might be the way to start.

I love this Jane Iredale kit. Note that the little circles are not big but when do we ever really get through palettes? It is a great way to try a variety of things without too much money invested. It even includes the Supernova shadow SGH mentioned:

@HappyDaze I also, have the top kit and like it. It is really small but for travel or to just try different colors, it is great. And the case is really cool.

I have bought some of the eyeshadows and they now come in a pretty gold case.

I bought "Mermaid and Forest".

Did you ever get "the Handi" brush? It is different than the one in the second group.

I tried this line way back when we started to hear a lot of buzz about mineral makeup more than 20 years ago now. Iredale had better colors for my skintone than BareMinerals and the other mineral brands. I didn't stick with it because I tired of mineral makeup and went back to regular foundation. My opinion of the foundation and the other products (I tried) from the line is positive, but not enough to make me a devotee of the brand. I have not purchased an Iredale product in years.
