Serious Skin Care Microcurrent Egg

Has anyone tried the Microcurrent Egg from Serious Skin Care? I just ordered it but am not sure if this was a good idea.

Most of us who have tried it agree it was not worth keeping. But the only way to really know that is to try it.

I have it and love it!! I use the facemaster with great results but the EGG works well for the neck and lifting of the jowls and cheeks. The facemaster still works best for the eyes. Well worth the money.

I had ordered it when it first came out but when I got the kit home it said if you are a Type 2 Diabetic you cannot use it-back it went.

I noticed by the current listings on hsn (3 kits were available this morning) there were many medical restrictions. I can't recall if diabetes was one of them.

I LOVE my SSC egg! I keep it bedside...to zap any potential would be breaker-in's...I could hardly stand it on level 3...level 10 will stop an intruder as well as any tazer on the market JMHO

Awww thanks @Lisamartha...I was joking (sort of) I will explain...my first experience with microcurrent was with SSC egg...now I found that even the lightest setting with lots of gel still felt zappy...stung real bad...I moved to level 5 and thought this must be what it feels like to be mildly electrocuted

I found a thread here about EMS vs Microcurrent vs TENS (I recommend looking for it! Very informative!) I tried to use the egg for like a month and just couldn't get over the pain...I found a new NuFace Trinity on the Bay for 99 bucks and bought that...now that one you don't feel (as much- tho sometimes I do) but I just can't deal with the gel primer phase needed to use these items...it means I must use it first thing in AM before I shower and begin my skincare/makeup or else I don't want to remove skincare and makeup to use the item with gel, then start over again...thereby, using double the skincare and makeup...does that make sense? I guess I could try using it at night before bed but then I am too tired lol

anyhow, I did a good several week trial of both the Egg and NuFace (I haven't used Suzanne Somers FaceMaster which is TENS unit ) and the effects were very temporary for the cost and effort needed...I figure I will save up for the one day I may feel the desire for a face lift/eye lift/ect but then again I may just try to accept aging gracefully (still fighting it all the way ) or start dating men who care less about how I look and more about my inner beauty
