What do you think of Perfect Formula Gel Coat?

It smells really awful and is full of chemicals... do not see where anyone would want that on their nails.

No more effective than Sally Hansen. There are some good nail strengtheners but this isn't one of them.

I have not used it because it is too expensive for what you get and it contains formaldehyde.

It's no better than drugstore products and costs too much.

I've been using 3 Minute Artificials by Nail-Aid. Available in Walmart, under $5.

Edited:. They make a newer version called 1 Minute Gel Coat.

I highly recommend Sally Hansen Miracle Growth Treatment, gold bottle with gold top. My nails have never been in better shape.

It works as well for my nails as anything else I've tried, but not much works on my nails. I take all the reviews with the proverbial grain of salt. Even a dermatologist and and endocrinologist have been dead ends as far as ideas for improving my nails.

Don't buy it. It was awful. I purchased last year, and my nails were chipping and peeling, I ended up throwing it out.

I've been using it for years. My nails are better when I use it. Sometime I get caught up with something new, but always return to it.

I love it!!! I've had problems with my nails and finally got them healthy again using Perfect Formula and Pro Strong. The nice thing about the Perfect Formula is that one coat is all you need. It dries fast. I use one or two coats as a base coat if I'm going to be weeding or working on some home project, etc. It's a great fast pedicure for sandal season.

Now, the color versions (not the ruby rose) will have mixed reviews. What I have found is that it depends on the color whether it will streak on the nail. The instuctions state to make three stripes on the nail. That helps. I prefer the pale or pastel shades bu the darker ones I use on my toes.

I hate the neon pink so I use the clear. Don't think it does any more or any less than any others😞

It does look nice, but the same thing happened to my DD and myself years ago. Have not purchased since because of the splitting and peeling of nails.

Rejuvacote by Duri is the best thing I have found. Not expensive, I got mine from ebay, but I believe Wal Mart has it.

Perfect Gel dried up in the bottle too fast, & too expensive for that. I couldn't tell it helped at all.

The shade of this polish was interesting, but, I was disappointed in the performance. I found this polish didn't last any longer than any regular polish and did not make my nails harder.

I used one bottle this spring and summer. I liked the subtle pinkish color and it made the whites of my nails seem whiter. But I didn't like that it peeled off after the 2nd day. I was constantly removing and reapplying it. My nails were in fairly good shape except for occasional peeling on the tips -- the Pink Gel Coat did not help that. I won't buy it again, but I wanted to give it a try. I'm happier with Sally Hansen "Hard as Nails." If my nails get in really bad shape, I'll use Nailtiques 2 again.
