What are some thoughts on TATCHA?

I have been using TATCHA for about three months now. I first purchased the discovery kit and liked the results, so I then invested in the complete line. I'm 65, and really, my skin has never looked or felt so smooth. I even have a glow!! Anyone else as pleased?

I bought the latest TSV, and am really liking all three pieces. My skin also feels very smooth, and soft. My IT make up in the compact glides on. I use the cleansing oil at night, and the gentle rice powder every morning. I love the silk cream, and use it morning and night. Excellent.

I also started using Tatcha after buying the discovery kit, then the TSV and now the eye serum. These products make my face look and feel fantastic for a fraction of the price of the previous line of products I was using. Do any of you ladies use the Clarisonic with Tatcha? I'm not sure at which step to use it, perhaps after the oil foams up after adding water?

When the last TSV was presented that question was asked. She said to use it with the oil. I don't use a Clarisonic, although I do own a Mia2.

I love Tatcha. A little bit goes a long way. My skin is much improved since I've been using it.

I really like the cleansing oil and the gentle rice powder. My skin can get red very easily with products but not with these.... no redness. I use Tretinion cream at night mixed with my moisturizer and still no irritation from the Tacha oil and powder. I can not afford the silk cream, so I just use Clinique dramatically different cream mixed with a pea size of the .025 tretinion cream at night. I use the oil and powder at night and the powder in the morning. My face is so smooth! I have only been using the Tatcha products for 2 weeks and I am very happy so far. I missed out on the March Tatcha TSV because I was away on vacation. I hope they bring it back again.

Love the cleansing oil. Not too crazy about the powder, it tends to dry out my skin.

Beautiful products. I use the cleansing oil, two different enzyme powders plus now the ageless eye cream and the new eye serum with the ceramic tip......fabulous!

Also have the two lipsticks........fantastic!!!

I've been enjoying the cleansing oil and enzyme powder (gentle) since Tatcha first debuted on the market. Recently purchased the TSV and the Silk Cream is quickly becoming a favorite for daytime use. I've also added the renewal eye, renewal face and brightening serum to the collection. I was initially concerned about the inclusion of "alcohol" in the ingredient decks but have been pleasantly surprised at how well these products work for my sensitive skin.

I was wondering too about the "alcohol" in the ingredient deck of many of Tatcha products. I thought that this was bad for your skin and can cause irritation that can't be seen. Especially if alcohol is in the first 5 or 6 ingredients.

Are we talking "alcohol"/"denatured alcohol" or some some form of fatty alcohol? The former is not good for the skin; the latter is fine.

No, it is the drying kind, denatured/regular alcohol, NOT the fatty alcohol. I can't believe the products contain it and I believe this is why it dried out my skin, which it shouldn't otherwise since it is a cleansing oil. Even the enzyme powder contains the drying kind of alcohol.

Yes, it is not good for your skin. Just think of it like using rubbing alcohol on your skin everyday- not good. I hadn't really checked the ingredients before I tried it a few years ago and couldn't figure out why/how an oil cleanser dried out my face and now I know why!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was initially concerned about the inclusion of ethanol (alcohol) in most Tatcha products. I did take note that it appears near the very end of the deck. There are, of course, varying opinions on the safety/efficacy of ethanol in skin care products. I have very sensitive skin with severe allergic reactions to Vitamin A and Copper Peptides...along with many other "actives". Tatcha's cleansing ritual has brought my skin to a new level of calm, hydration and clarity. My dermatologist (annual preventive visits) has suggested that I maintain my routine since it's working so well for me. I've decided to "listen" to my skin rather than be heavily influenced by the literature.

Actually I did not like the "gold flakes" in the ingredient list,so I returned it before I knew how it would work for me. Who wants or actually needs gold flakes on their skin ?

I am kind of sad. I got the TSV (auto delivery), and it is a little drying on my skin. I did get the one for sensitive skin, and yet I am still dry. I think it will be better when the weather gets warmer.
