I just tried posting to it and got an error message - went back to the index page and it was gone. I wonder if they finally found there was a code hidden within it? It's really too bad they yanked it, lots of good and friendly chat I there plus helpful info for the newbies and interested parties.

Why didn't they just delete the post like they always do if there was something there that should not be. I'm pretty sure I buy as much from QVC as I do the other guys.

Cuppa coffee in hand...waiting on phone to get my ttv price adjusted...my best guess to why the thread disappeared...the pic of Dimitri dollar had code on it and someone noticed that...it was the very first post so the entire thread would disappear...sad because such great info and chat...who wants to start a new one minus that? I can honestly say I buy more from other sites than QVC, lol.

But I am not sure why they couldn't just delete the posts with the codes. I wish people wouldn't post the codes so the threads don't get deleted!!

Exactly, @SunnyRose. Indeed, if it was deleted because of the inclusion of a code or link that is against the rules, why not just delete that and also state why?

Just to add that, after a poster informed me, I went back to one of my posts and deleted the discount product code. Including it was just mistake on my part and I corrected it.

Please moderators let us know why the entire topic was deleted so we can make sure to stay within the rules in the future. IMHO, seems like a very inoffensive and respectful request.

I think we are all really trying to obey the rules so please respond.

Hi @ChazzyLady We never like to delete a whole thread, but unfortunately if the first post, original post, is where the violation of standards is and it is deleted the entire thread is deleted. There is no way we can delete the original thread and have the rest remain.

In defense of @Chi-town girl, I know without doubt that she was completely unaware of her faux pas. She posts here all the time and would never jeopardize her thread knowingly.

The above is correct. @Chi-Town mentioned in the thread that she needed the code so she obviously didn't know that she had posted it.
