I have to recommend OPI crystal nail files

I've spent a lifetime looking for the perfect nail file. I don't care for emery boards or metal files. That leaves glass, and after six months using the OPIs, I'm set for life with this brand. They aren't cheap, about 10.00 each, but the two I have still look and perform like new. Don't be tempted by all the cheap ones, the "grit" comes off almost immediately.

I know what you mean! I also only use glass files and they are not all created equal. Finding the right glass file is a fantastic feeling. Congratulations! I'll have to check the OPI file out.

totally agree with your recommendation. this is the only file that doesn't leave a jagged edge on the nail. nice and smooth and doesn't catch on anything. And yes, they last forever. I highly encourage everyone to give these a try

Nothing beats the really good quality old-style metal diamond type files but they are HARD to find now Good ones, that is.

I'll have to look for these. I have an old Mary Kay glass file that I use and love, but I know it won't last forever.

I have the crystal nail files from Pink Gel Perfect Formula - they are fantastic! I received the first one when I purchased the pink gel when it first came out (smaller) and then in a TSV about a year ago it included a big, wide one. They are exceptional - not sure if they can be purchased separately, but the freebee of them both were great finds!!!

I started out with files from Perfect Formula but received a small one from MCS Files as a stocking stuffer. Even smoother and better quality which I couldnt believe. I have now ordered from them several times for gifts and to get the large pedi size, etc. They are made by a husband and wife who also hand paint different designs of your choice. Very cute and shipping has always been fast.Not cheap but I since tried others and haven't found better.
