Is anyone using the Hydron line? I believe it used to be on Q years ago. I was looking for a really good body moisturizer and ordered a body kit from Hydron today.

As a secondary question, does anyone have any great suggestions for body moisturizers? I have tried Josie's body butter and it just isn't what I'm looking for.

I remember when Hydron Hal was on the Q! I liked some of his products. I didn't know it was still in business. @ElvisShops

Jergens hydrating coconut lotion is the best I have ever used. I think I am on the 10th bottle and stopped looking for alternatives. Sinks right in but keeps working and I can tell a difference in my skin when I don't use it. Love that it is drugstore, readily available and so inexpensive.

Have you tried Wen Nourishing Body Treatment (NBT)? Originally offered in the 613 - vanilla, rosemary and lemon scent and now 319 which is unscented, but has a very faint citrus smell that disappears and will not conflict with your personal fragrance. This is a very rich cream that has a huge following with great reviews. It's my HG now and I'll never be without it. And I've tried so many products.

I recently purchased a Beekman kit with goat milk soap that is extremely moisturizing for me. Layered the 319 after showering brought the NBT to another level of wonderful moisture that lasted till my next shower. It was a 'whoa this is amazing' reckoning for me. JM products didn't work for me. HTH

I dont use any products by Jergens, they contain mineral oil, parabens and other chemicals.

Harvey Hydron left the Q, went to HSN, then to SNBC before he called it quits.

Refreshing memories about this line - Kathy Levine made it famous and actually stopped using it on the advice of her dermatologist because her skin was acting crazy . Her derm must be amazing because Kathy's skin looks phenomenal for her age.

Kathy related this story on air and I think Q stopped selling it.

I started using Hydron AHA back when Kathy was selling it. I decided it was too expensive and I could get the same thing cheaper. So I went to Neoteric Cosmetics for their AHA and have been a happy camper there ever since.

Thank you for the responses. I ordered the Wen 319 (unscented version) today. I don't use Wen hair care, but I do like the smell of some of the products, so I also ordered the new Honey Peach and Coconut Mango perfumes. I wish he would do an orange blossom perfume or edt.

I hope you will be as pleased with the 319 NBT as I've been. It's been a game changer that passed with flying colors during the bitter cold and dry heated house Midwest winter. I'd previously used CeraVe in the tub but my legs were dry by days end in the cold season.

I love Chaz's Spring Orange Blossom scent. If you can locate a 4oz bottle of the oil, it's great to mix with or over the NBT. Keep an eye on eBay. I use many of the WEN seasonal oil scents with the NBT with very pleasant results. Subtle fragrance options that won't walk into the room before you do.

I too ordered both EDP's today. I'd put some of the peach and mango coconut cleanser on each wrist and realized how I'd forgotten how great they smell. The honey peach reminded me of the summer orange blossom scent, different but the same genre. Reviews are coming in saying the EDP is a clone for the cleansing conditioners.

You have some great stuff coming your way. I hope you are very happy with these items and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the NBT!!! Enjoy

I remember Hydron but am not using it. I did try it when it was on the Q but moved on and don't remember it as being anything impressive.

As for your secondary question, I have very dry post menopausal skin and am always looking for a good moisturizer. I just started using Beekman's goat milk body butter and it really does the job! I really like it. I also have very dry, thin and crepey skin on my hands and just rediscovered something I had used when I was in my twenties. Ahava hand cream...also works great!

I see that Beekman has a new or newish whipped goat's milk body cream. A whipped body cream sounds nice. Unfortunately, it appears to be available only in the honeyed grapefruit fragrance right now, which is a scent I don't care for. To me, it doesn't smell like honey or grapefruit. Is this the product you are using? If so, is the fragrance lighter than in the lotion?

Yes, this is the one that I'm using. You're right it doesn't really smell like honey or grapefruit but it feels very good and does moisturize my skin. I've never used the lotion so I don't know if it's a lighter scent or not. The only other body butter that I've found that works as well is Suzanne Somers' peppermint body butter.

I placed an order with hydron a couple weeks ago. My order still says processing, and I have sent at least 3 unanswered emails. Has anyone ever experienced that with the company? I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

@rochelleS: I ike the body butter, but the fragrances just didn't do it for me. I am still hoping he will turn the orange blossom into a fragrance. The orange blossom mist is just heaven.

Best moisterizer: good old fashioned cocoa butter. Hands down.
