Josies Vanilla Amber???

Hi everyone. I was hoping someone could tell me what Josies Vanilla Amber smells like? I've looked everywhere for a description & nothing.I know what vanilla smells like but what about amber? Is it a foodie smell?Perfume?

Amber is an earthy scent often found in fragrances categorized as woodsy or oriental. It's a warm scent and one of my favorites.

Mine too @ChynnaBlue! Have you tried this Body butter? If so, does it actually have an amber scent? I don't like vanilla much unless tempered by another scent I really like and as long as it isn't dominate.

I haven't, @HappyDaze. I'm curious, but I'm also picky about my amber and would rather try this one in person before I buy.

I've never had a bad reaction to any of Josie's scents, but Bath & Body Works had/has an amber scent that triggers huge asthma attacks for me, bad enough that I've had to leave meetings where someone was wearing a body lotion and had to ask everyone who works in my area not to use it at the office. I've never had that kind of reaction to any other amber scent, but it's made me very cautious.

Where did you find vanilla Amber?!?!?! I LOVE this scent from Josie. It smells like her vanilla bean with a very warm oriental undertone. There is almost a sensual yet very subtle layer. Not overpowering at all!!! I really wish she would make it in a 19oz!!!!!

Also, Can anyone describe the Josie BB gardenia and or the sweet citrus scents?

@Socom - I just ordered it as a Super Saturday item (type Super Saturday into search engine and you will see the trio offered). Im interested in the body butter but the sugar scrub seemed to get good reviews as well, so I ordered it. I love amber.

Sweet Citrus is one of my favorites! I bought it in the 19 oz. It's a grapefruit/orange scent in my opinion. Not too sweet. When I'm wearing it I keep smelling my arm because it smells so good

Msshopper, you just made my day. I just ordered two (for now) because Josie's vanilla Amber is amazing and it's not offered often IMHO. So, thank you soooooo very much!!!!!

ButterflyGirl1969 thank you also for the description of the sweet citrus. That sounds yummy as well so I may be placing an order for the 19oz. I think I'm just a little addicted to her body butter.

I just received my order of the 19 oz body butter today, among them the 'Gardenia', first the label says "St Tropez Gardenia' and it does not smell anything like I expected Gardenia to be. I was expecting a floral fragrance which this is not, it smells like a mixture with a suntan oil smell or maybe coconut? Regardless , it is not what I was looking for , so back it goes.

@Socom@Jen44 You are so welcome! I'm glad that I finally had a good "lead" to share with the board! I get so many tips from the ladies of these boards and rarely have any good insider info for myself. I'd randomly come across the trio and placed my order right away, as I've seen things sell out prior to Super Saturday in years past. Glad we got our orders in early!
