I have watched her for quite awhile and have never purchased anything from her line. I would like to know what fragrance you have purchased and can you describe the scent ? Thanks.

OMG - is SHE still alive? LOL I never watch HSN but recall seeing her mumble through presentations 25 - 30 years ago! Can't believe she's still........................

Destiny has been a long time favorite of mine. It's floral, not heavy. IMO, Marilyn is similar to Tova (and even Mrs. Slatkin, but she's probably younger), a gracious and classy older woman. Whenever I see Marilyn Miglin on HSN I'm always reminded of the senseless murder of her husband. I admire how she's been able to endure and go on to the degree she has. I don't know that I'd be able to if it were me.

While I love and respect her very much,she is a very elegant lady,I do not like her perfumes at all. I bought Phermone (? spelling) It was awful . It has been sitting in my closet untouched for yrs!

She is a sweet lady bless her heart....but her fragrances are the worst cheap Avon smelling perfumes...just awful! Strong and over powering.

I tried her Musk and it was old smelling and tossed it. Her turtlenecks every visit are just overdone!

I would have to agree, Marilyn is lovely, been on HSN since 1993, very gracious woman, but her perfumes are terrible.

I wore Destiny a gazillion years ago. Light floral not too heavy. I always thought she was a classy lady!

The OP merely asked about fragrances people liked from MM. Sad how many had to snatch an opportunity to make such incredibly derogatory remarks. It says much more about those who made the comments than it does about MM. Maybe some should look in the mirror. Wow!

I found her perfume way TOO heavy and old smelling.

But I liked her skin care. She used to sell skin care and make-up on HSN but then years ago switched to selling only her fragrances. I would like to try her skin care again along with Connie Stevens line -Forever Spring.

Both of these vendors had great package deals - kinda like Signature Club A has at times.

Very nicely said, Guatmum. It's a shame trolls are allowed to post their drivel.

And thank you to those who have tried Ms. Miglin's perfurmes and shared their opinions in this thread. I've always wondered what those scents smelled like in person. Now I have a better idea of what I may and may not like from her line.

Hi @hovis,

I have actually tried many of her fragrances, and really like many of them.

As we know, fragrances are individual, so what one may like, another may not.

I guess that I can generally say that many of her fragrances tend to be more "warmer" fragrances with more oriental notes or just warmer fragrance notes in them. If you tend to like those kinds of notes in your fragrances, then I think that you will like her fragrances.

Not all of them are like that, but many of them are, including her famous Pheromone.

I really like her Sensual Amber, but then I like anything with amber in it, as it makes those types of fragrances very warm. It adds a depth and a warmth to them.

I also like 112. It reminds me of a fragrance like Chanel No. 5. It's another warm fragrance.

I also like her Destiny. It has all white flowers in it. I think that it can be described as a lighter fragrance.

I happen to like Pheromone Musk.

It has white flower musk in it, and not animal musk. It's her original Pheromone fragrance, mixed with white floral musk.

I think that it's a really different and unique fragrance. When I would wear this one, my husband would really notice it, and would comment on it, saying that I smelled really pretty.

I love Magic. It's a really spicy and sultry fragrance. It's another warm fragrance. I would perhaps call this one an oriental, too.

If you like tropical flowers, then you would like her Celebrate fragrance. I think that it's a really beautiful fragrance. It's one of my favorites, but it's not often available on the network.

Goddess is a fruity fragrance, with notes of peach in it. It's really different, too.

my favorite of hers is GODDESS.

does anyone remember the set she did of about 8 fragrances and she did the bottles in the shape of goddesses? it was a beautiful set!

i also like four white flowers and pyjama lily. my mom has some of her fragrances also......her favorite is destiny.
