I recently got the Pink Buttercream and thought the same thing. To make it work, I barely touch my brush to it, swipe the excess on my arm and lightly apply. This stuff is pigmented! I have to say it's nice, but I prefer Tropic Hues. My other LG blush is Ethereal Rose, which I tend to use as a refresher color if I need it later in the day.

I'm hoping someone who uses Laura Geller Blush n Brighten can help me. I just received my BnB in Pink Buttercream and it's too bright and pink for my pale, yellow toned skin. Does anyone else with fair skin, no pink tones, have a suggestion for the perfect Blush n Brighten for me? Just received my LG TSV and the fair Balance and Brighten is just right. Now I just need to figure out a shade for the blush.

I'm glad you're liking the B&B - isn't it great? I have a bunch of Laura's Blush & Brightens and I like all of them. My skin is light, and I'm warm complected. Here are my favorites: Pink Grapefruit, Golden Apricot, and Tropic Hues. I'm sorry the Pink Buttercream didn't work for you. Maybe if you put it on very lightly, and use a touch of the new bronze palette over it, you can get it to work a little!

Love her cosmetics. Might want to check Zulily for great prices. In any case I am fair and I use lightly just for a slight color. That might explain why I never use it up.

It takes a very tiny bit for the color.

You might try the Golden Apricot.

When a blush is too dark, I use a light powder to go over it. I also use a powder puff instead of a brush. I can get a small amount that way.

I am a natural redhead , fair with cool toned skin. I got a free sample of LG's pink grapefruit blush and absolutely loved it. They don't sell it here on QVC I believe but I buy it from her website. I also am currently addicted to her cream blush in Rose, which I also bought from her website.

I too am fair with yellow undertones. I'd try pink grapefruit. It doesn't go on as heavily as the buttercream and I find it easier to blend/soften on my cheeks.

Thanks for all of the help! I copied down all of the colors suggested, and will check them out next. The Pink Buttercream is going back & I'll reorder one of the suggested colors. Paying the return fee hurts, but I'd rather have a color I love than "make do" with one that isn't quite right. I appreciate all of the comments!

I have a similar skin tone and type and I use the Etheral Rose/Sateen Orchid shade. If I swipe on a little too much then I just swipe over very lightly with the porcelin B&B. This is what works for me. Good luck.

It's a very subdued pink with some coppery bronze swirls. The net effect is the most natural of any of hers that I have tried. There is no actual shimmer, just a little glow. It's a beautiful shade that I think would complement all but maybe the darkest of skin tones.

I had purchased Pink Buttercream at the same time (a sale at Ulta).
