I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the satin no slip pillowcases that were on with Shawn Killinger, i believe they were called Slip or No slip, i just saw it quickly and didnt get a chance to see the exact name and now i cannot find them on QVC. They were suppose to be a new satin pillow case that is good for your skin so that it will help with wrinkles .Thanks

bc they allow your hair and skin to "slip" along the pillow while

you sleep so you don't tug your skin (wrinkles) or break your

I have one (different brand) that I got from shopnbc ages ago. I still use it and I still don't know if it helps. It boasts that it will keep your night cream on your face and not on your pillow. It has a zipper and is not shiny satin. I guess I'll keep using it but meantime will look into these.

I am interested in responses also as I just purchased a satin pillowcase from Bed Bath and Beyond. I purchased it mostly thinking of keeping my hair in some order over night, but I find it to be overly warm during the warmer weather. I wonder if these other pillow cases are "cooler" feeling.

I, too, feel that satin pillowcases are too warm and make me sweat so I've stopped using them.

When I was a kid, satin pillowcases were touted for keeping womens' hairstyles (lots of teasing, piling, and hairspray) looking good for several days. Of course, my mom had to have one. I don't know how well it actually worked or not. A satin pillowcase as part of skincare is a new one on me.

I use a copper infused pillow that is suppose to help skin look better... it has a smooth slick feeling to it as well. I buy them from Cupron.com. I believe Evine Live also was selling a simular copper infused pillow a few months back so you might chect and see if they are still available.

Just another ploy to get women to spend their money by touting something that will help their skin from aging. Don't buy into it. Literally.

I bought a couple from Amazon. I use them when I get my hair done at the shop. It helps keep the hair looking good for an extra day. The rest of the month I just use my regular pillow cases. I don't know whether it really helps or not. I've read that satin pillowcases are supposed to be kinder on your face and help prevent wrinkles. I don't think I buy it

@suzyQ3 I hear ya. Just wanted to add that I'm sure the satin these days isn't the satin of gone by days when polyester hadn't even been invented yet. I would never rest my head on a synthetic material. I just wouldn't and it's not to say these pillowcases are anything but cotton because I don't know. But satin, well, it's probably not what satin used to be.

I have been I sleeping on silk pillowcases for years. I have naturally curly hair and I find that they keep my curls from getting all wonky my when I sleep.
