Have never tried this but it makes me wonder if the 1oz bottle for $65 formula is the same as 6 oz for $129? How do they do this??

Great special! This is a fantastic product. It helps with my neck lines where I can't use Retin A. I don't have irritation with this product on my neck.

I don't think he'd make lesser of a product. It's saving a lot on not having a lot of pricey bottles.

I don't need this, but I'm kind of considering caving. He stated you could use this on your arms, and I kind of like that idea!!!

I absolutely adore this product. And this looks like a fantastic value. But, I wonder if the ingredients will hold up over time. Do you think they will lose their potency? Or will they be okay for a full year in this packaging?

The markup on beauty and skincare products is enormous, so they have a huge buffer they can play with and still profit. Vendors also know that QVC can sell more product in 5 minutes than a store can in a much longer period, so it's a very quick turnaround for them.

I read positive reviews all over the 'net, but I didn't want to spend $129 plus to try it. Ended up getting a smaller version for $34 at Amazon. Yes, it's much less product, but it seems to last buyers a long time. The difference in $$ made me choose this option.

Since I have barely made a dent in the bottle I received in the TSV (and I think that is 2oz?) then I can't fathom buying a 6.7oz bottle.

@GSPgirl I find your question confusing. The Internet is the best way to do research and gather information these days. If you don't trust it, then neither I or anyone else can help you. If you intended to say something different than how it came across, I would advise you to research cosmetic and skincare companies. Supporters of cruelty free products maintain lists of "friendly" and "unfriendly" companies. They really aren't that hard to find. You can also send individual questions to the companies you're interested in checking out or look on the "FAQ's" page of their websites. If a company doesn't test, they'll be sure to state that clearly. If a company does, they may do a little word dance or avoid the topic altogether.

You're smart not to believe everything that you read on the Internet. It's full of misinformation, rumors, fear-mongering, and outright lies couched as fact. Always double-check what you read.

Having said that, when it comes to indisputable information, it's a lifesaver. No one can successfully lie about whether they test on animals. You just have to be savvy, though, about the nuances involved in this issue; e.g., a company doesn't test, but their parent company does. Many are okay with that; others, not so much. Read the fine print and never be sky about shooting the company an e-mail to verify their terms.

There are several sites online that can help you if you google this issue.

I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION MYSELF. ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE FOR PAULAS CHOICE WHERE SHE REVIEWED HIS PRODUCT...SHE SAID THE 1 OZ BOTTLE SHOULD BE USED WITHIN 3 MONTHS. THIS SUPERSIZE IS 6.7OZ SO HOW DOES THAT EFFECT THE PRODUCT. I CAN'T USE THAT MUCH IN A 3 MONTH PERIOD.

I plan on using mine on my chest, arms and legs, so I'll probably go through the bottle fairly quickly. Keeping the bottle in a cool dark place will help with longevity. Not sure I'd spring for this size for face use only though.

Hi Lakeshore gal, yours is a legitimate question. My understanding is that they have changed the dispensing mechanism. There is no dropper in the Mega size. Instead, they use an air-restrictive dispenser. The latter should prevent the air sensitive ingredients from oxidation (which degrades the product). The bottle is also opaque, which protects the light sensitive ingredients from light.

I checked the ingredients in both 1 oz Retinol PM and 6.7 Mega size Retinol PM and they seem to be the same and in the same concentration:

CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, SQUALANE, WATER/AQUA/EAU, RETINOL, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, BISABOLOL, LECITHIN, POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, POLYSORBATE 20, ALCOHOL.

I love, love this product. I have very fair skin with a lot of sun damage. I have tried numerous products over the past 5 years. After using this for 5 momths, my sun damage is almost gone and my skin looks so much better.

If you register on his website, they send emails about sales the have about 2x a year. They have a $5.00 sale (usually in the summer). I bought 10 bottles of his Retinor and various other products including samples.

There are some good deals and you only get the emails when they are offering special prices. I appreciate not being bothered by numerous emails. They don't do that. Very classy operation.

I got a sample of his PTR CC Cream, SPF 30, Complexion Corrector. This CC cream is the best I've ever used and I've bought so many over the years. It covers red spots, evens out your complexion and makes your skin so soft. It is unlike any other product I've tried

I have full tube of Clinique and reciently bought IT CC+Veil Beauty Foundation. Neither do what PTR CC cream do for my skin. I've wasted so much money.

I have found his products so easy to use and the quality very high. Check his website for the sales.

If a Company tests on animals, it does not make me not want to purchase the product.

I respect those who make a different decision though.

This is a watered down version of the 1 ounce, when you compare ingredients what you have to look for is the order they are in

the ingredients are in order of how much is in the bottle

so the water is before the retinol on the large size

where in the 1 ounce size the retinol is listed first

look and the indredient order water before retinol in the bigger size

i already asked customer service. And it is a water down version of the 1ounce size
