I bought her apricot body butter and it stained my clothing. I couldn't believe it. It went back.

I use her self tanner oil with the mitt...I love it, and it does not come off for me..

I am not sure which one you are asking about, but that one I love..

I haven't used her newest one, the body butter that she had on today, I think it came in choclate or vanilla...but it was a body butter, mine I use is the oil...

Josie's self tanner body butter is new, and she said it does not come off. Being new, and not in stores, I would order it and test it on some clothing you do not care about. If it comes off call CS and tell them this was misrepresented and you do not want to pay to ship it back. I would also Facebook message JM's company directly. Shockingly, they actually replied to me about an issue ealier this year.

I used the Illuminizing butter , not to be confused with the SelfTanning, and it has sparkle and can come off on the clothes.

After Antonella did her show with Josie and put some of that self tanning body butter on, she had an Honora show. She actually had to stop her Honora presentation and apologize for having so much of the tanner rub off on the white pearl (very expensive) necklace. She asked the stage person to bring her one of those hand wipes so she could clean the necklace. So it's not just your clothes in jeopardy of transfer.

I use self tanner at night. Put it on under an old nightshirt and sleep while it develops. In the morning, shower it off and nothing will stain clothing.

I would never use a self-tanner with a guide color under actual clothes I wear outside the house, ever. That's basically wearing a bronzer under your clothes and bronzers rub off.

It's a body cream with oil, so it takes a long time to dry down. Even her regular body butter does. And the hosts rub HUGE amounts of that stuff on over and over during a presentation for the cameras, way more than anyone ever would use in real life. I wouldn't really use what happens on camera as an adequate example of what happens in real life.

But again, it's an oil-based body cream with a color in it. Don't wear it with pearls or clothing you care about. I don't even wear it outside because if you perspire, it can run, leaving ugly streak in the guide color and affecting the evenness of the tan.

I am very anxious to give her tanning butter a try. When she was on with Sharon this week, Sharon gave a suggestion on tanning hands. She said that she doesn't wash her hands. She just wipes her palms on a wipe. I don't like her idea. There will be tanning residue left on the cuticles. I just bought a cheap makeup brush and that is how I am going to apply to backs of my hands and feet. So I will wash my hands after applying to my body then apply with the brush.

I watched the presentation of the self tanning butter and I am not convinced. I wonder if there is a chemical smell once it dries? It has color in it so once you shower it off the next day I think it should do be fine. I wonder if it would stain sheets while you sleep? I need to see the reviews if I consider to buy it.

It has been my experience over the years that with many brand new products, available only to QVC, it means we are guinea pigs for that product. I didn't like paying my money for them to do their product testing!

Antonella should have washed her hands brfore the show,of course it would come off onto the pearls! She says wash it off your palms
