I won't wear unwashable mascara, if it doesn't come off with soap and water I don't buy it. Of course I remove ALL my makeup before bedtime! My pillow case would be disgusting to say the least.

Of course I wash my face and do my nightly face routine, but, I don't remove my mascara at night. I take it off (with oil) the next morning before putting new mascara on. The very few times I have removed my mascara before bed, my mascara isn't as effective that day. The lengthening mascara doesn't lengthen as well.
