Yes, I sometimes do use a face cloth too, but my skin looks better & feels so much nicer after using my Clarisonic.

I was a huge skeptic that it would work.

For me, it does in a big way & i'm very grateful for it. 😊

I thomk some posters are missing the point-no one is arguing that advancements havent made things better-but rather that there is something to "too much of a good thing". Cell phones are lovely for emergencies etc. but is it healthy for self esteem and independence to be tethered to someone else 24/7? The same is true of most things. There is always a balance. There is something beautiful in simplicity. I appreciate what the OP is saying.

Sweet-Serenity - I was getting ready to heart your post and found that you (or someone) had removed the original post.

I have to comment because some of the posters are comparing a beauty product to medical advances which seems a little out there. And there are always certain posters that are predictable in their catty and borderline mean responses.

I have the Clarisonic and it has not changed my skin tone, brightness, texture, etc. The only reason I use it is because....I spent $150.00 hard earned dollars and I will darn well get use out of this gadget. I should have returned it but I was thinking that my skin may suddenly improve one day. I have to say it has lasted for many years but when it dies I will go back to a washcloth which I still use.

I know I'll probably be attacked but I swear I think some of these posters have a vested interest in these products they way they defend them.

Different people/different needs. You love WEN and I'm thinking that as soon as I use up what I've already paid for I'll try something else after 6+ years of using WEN.

But my Clarisonic - not giving that up -- I have terribly dry skin and it works really well for me.

On the other hand , I still use a manual toothbrush and my dental hygenist and my dentist both tell me to keep right on using those.

There just isn't one choice that suits all of us Lots of science has changed my life for better - even the manual toothbrushes I use aren't the same brushes I used in the 1940's when I began brushing!

I bought my daughter a Clarisonic Mia 2 more than a year ago for her as a Christmas present. I didn't buy it from QVC but I did buy it from Shoppers Drug Mart using my loyalty points. So far so good.

TSC in Canada had some various Clarisonic configurations on sale yesterday but it was only a one day sale so I jumped and have ordered a Mia 2 with the deep pore brushes. With taxes it's coming to $140 CDN so I think that the QVC TSV set with 5 brushes for about $114 U.S. plus taxes and shipping is a good deal. The set I bought for my daughter only came with one brush and I bought her a second brush separately. The set I'm buying for myself only comes with 2 brush heads.
