Beekman bounty box aloe and iris- how is everyone liking it so far?

I haven't gotten might yet (sheesh). Supposedly Tuesday but I think most have received it already. How are you liking the products? How do you like the scent?

My hubby's pure goat milk bar is just a tiny little nub and I told him he can't open a new bar until the aloe and iris comes because I want him to try that one next, lol. I plan on using one of the bars in my Mom's Mother's day gift basket I am making up for her. Both her and my dad always likes the bars I give them so hopefully this one is nice too.

Initially, when I opened the box I didnt like it. Very flowery, I really thought I would be sending it back. Didnt realize there is a hint of rose in the scent (which I do not like). But I used the soap and the scent and it is not overpowering at all. I havent used any of the lotions yet, not sure how I will like them...

@MrsCat21 thanks for your feedback! We find that none of their soaps is really strongly scented when you actually use it. I think that is one of the draws for my hubby. He likes the scents but doesn't necessarily want to smell like a walking bar of soap, if that makes sense, lol. We are only going to keep/use the bar soaps out of this box.

The scent is nice; not too overpowering. I haven't opened anything yet and used it. (still working my sliver of grafefruit)

Mine arrives THURSDAY. Crazy slow shipping. Its my first experience with Evine and disappointed with their shipping and a customer care issue I've had to call about before it was even shipped. Wish Beekman was on another shopping channel besides Evine. Customers are really liking the box on the Beekman FB. btw...I'm not a big social media person but love their FB. They respond to customers and make it feel personal. Check it every day because they update daily and its a fun FB page.

@segrl21 oh yeah, Evine is even worse in terms of shipping than QVC is, at least for me. SUPER super slow. It is awful! I don't do social media either but have popped into their FB once in awhile. I forget to check it most of the times and end up finding out what is up and coming on these forums since a few ladies will post updates when they see them on Facebook, which I appreciate. I love to look at the pictures of their farm though.

@HappyDaze I just started the Aloe & Iris soap bar my neighbor gave to me. It is floral but has a light fragrance. It reminds me a little of the heirloom violet. Hubby thinks it's too feminine to use so I gave him another honeyed grapefruit bar to use in his shower. My bathroom smells so nice now. Hope you get your bounty box soon!

I liked the inital flowery fragrance, but when it "dried down" it reminded me of a fresh linen or cottony scent (which i am not a big fan of). I would've liked the light floral scent to be long lasting, instead of the fresh linen scent. But it does settle down & is a nice, mild scent. But everyones body chemistry is different, so it's pretty hard to predict how it will smell on you. I don't hate it, but I wouldn't purchase it again. The soaps & lotion make my skin feel phenomenal. Can't wait for the next shipment!

I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like this set. I was a little leery from a previous experience but it exceeded my expectations.

On me, the scent is a soft floral with clean undertones. The scent stays on me exactly how it went on, without a different dry down. I get the floral and the fresh, clean linen scent at the same time, which I really like. Funny how everyone's body chemistry interprets things differently. I'm just glad it doesn't have a perfumey/chemical scent.

I guess it depends on where you're located maybe?

I order on let's say Saturday.....I've gotten packages as early as Tuesday from evine!

When my orders take a long time (once in a while they are pretty fast) to get here it is because they have been "processing" for days & days.

Once they actually ship it doesn't take long - unless the package gets transferred to the USPO. Then I can add 1-2 extra days.

I ordered one item - wipes - on 3/24. It did not ship until 4/1. Today, 4/4, it is in a town an hour away. It will most likely be transferred to the PO & delivered on 4/6.

just got my bounty box today and oh my goodnes I LOVE the scent of those bars!!! My husband really likes it too. He smelled it and said "Oh wow! Can I use it now?" I was making him use this tiny little nub left of his pure goat milk bar until this came, lol! @Maltichonmom17

Got mine today finally. Oh I really like it and smells like spring. Fresh, clean and can detect the iris. Flowery fresh but subtle. Can't believe how huge the bars are, this is my first Beekman products. Such a good buy and excited for other scents.

My variety box of wipes arrived on 4/6, as expected. I have a few Burt's Bees wipes to use up before I open any of the Beekman ones but I am looking forward to the scents.

I was wondering if anyone has had any of the Beekman unopened wipes dry out? Four packages of wipes will last me at least four months & I sure hope I don't discover the last month or two that they are no good.

@willdob3 I've had a few packages of wipes for awhile now and no, they've weren't dried up.

@segrl21 yep, they are huge! We really love the scent of the bars in this one too. I SUPER excited about the summer one, can't wait!
