Do you do your own pedi?

I do my own because I'm limber eniugh to get my foot on the bench I'm sitting on. I hate the thoughts of driving somewhere and driving back.

Even with arthritis, i still manage to use my emjoi pedi and a quick polish.....can't stop thinking about the germs in a salon......

No way, not interested in a do it yourself pedicure. I like a professional pedi and I like pretty feet. I can't get a professional by doing it myself. I don't mind driving to the shop and I like being pampered..

No, never.

My salon pedicure is an indulgence I've enjoyed for over 20 years. I wear sandals the majority of the months of the year and I want my feet perfect. I cannot trim my nails or apply the polish as well as they do. The leg massage is pure bliss!

I enjoy getting mani/pedi's at the salon. The only problem is it's hard to find a salon that is immaculately clean and the nail tech's do an excellent job.

I'm paying top dollar for an excellent mani/pedi, but not getting it.

Guess I need to start doing my own.

Nope. My manicurist and pedicurist are five minutes away. I use my Emjoi in between for my feet.

Ugh, I am torn about this. I can't really reach my toes that well and subsequently do a lousy job of cutting the nails. I don't want to be bothered going to the podiatrist to have him cut them. He is not nearby. I love how a salon pedi looks, I can't get rid of the cuticle like they do. Then again, I'm not working now, so really who sees my feet that closely? I am also afraid of fungus or them not cleaning things properly... even though I have never had a problem so far...

Yes.

I do not mind the drive but I do mind paying hundreds of dollars a year to risk infection. I also prefer grooming in private. LOL

Since I got my emjoi I can manage my own quite easily. I went srtictly for my calloused feet! I still go about twice a year just for the pampering, I LOVE the leg massage!

I have saved so much money it's ridiculous. It's hard to justify right now.

I usually do my own. My Emjoi makes my pedicures better than the ones I pay for.

Once in a while I go out to a salon for a pedi but I am concerned about the health risks in doing that. But sometimes I just feel like having someone else do it.

I have always done my own mani and pedis. I can't imagine spending money on something so simple as painting my own nails! I'm too thrify with my money to waste it on such nonsense. I always get compliments on my nails so I must be doing something right!

I love to do my own pedis at home. I do a much more thorough job than the salon where they are in a big hurry to get someone else in the chair. The only thing I can't do as well is the polish so sometimes I will do the pedi myself and then go to the salon for the polish. It's much cheaper than the entire pedi and safer, too!

I always wear closed shoes. I am outside a lot walking my dog and the weather is brutal on my feet if I wear sandals.

One product I use and love for foot care is O'Keeffe's Healthy Feet. I purchase this and O'Keeffe's Working Hands cream at CVS.

No, because I am not limber enough to safely do anything to my toes that involve sharp instruments.

I have a friend in this business with her own very small shop that supplements her income. The shop gives her something to do a few days a week, and she is the only person working there. She only schedules a certain number of clients each day, and I rarely ever see the client scheduled before, or after me. I have no qualms about getting pedicures done in her shop, because she's there to do what she loves, and it's not all about the money.

I would not do pedicures if I had to go to any other shop in town, and would never go to the shops at the mall.
