IT Cosmetic CC Cream disappointment

I received #264626, IT CC Cream with brush set, a few days ago. Love the CC Cream - it's a beautiful coverage, doesn't transfer, good color. But I am really disappointed in the brush. It is not up the to standard quality of IT brushes, which are reputed to be among the best. This one is shedding terribly, leaves hairs all over my face. Not going to return it because I like the CC Cream, but I feel that I really didn't get the full worth of this purchase. Anyone else have this problem with this brush? I did write a comment in my review and also sent Jamie a facebook comment but don't really expect any replies.

You should contact Customer Service, let them know what happened. You love the product but have a defective brush.

The brushes are outstanding and yours has not met the usual benchmark of quality.

The title of your comment is misleading, I thought you were referring to the CC cream not the brush. Try using a Beauty Blender sponge, it's way better than a brush and you can get one on Ebay for $7 inc shipping.

I have a brush from an earlier TSV (think it was foundation) for IT. It doesn't shed and seems ok. My favorite brush is from Jane Iredale, her kabuki is awesome.

I saw the sponge applicators at TJMaxx FYI.

@gonnab I'm going to echo a previous response that you contact QVC's customer service about your issue with the brush being defective. Clearly it shouldn't be shedding all over your face like that! See what they can do for you.

I, too, prefer a brush for application, and I use Artis...small set is sold here on Q, and other Artis sets can be found at NM. Expensive, but the best quality brush that I have ever used!

@gonnab I bought the super size of this It CC SPF50 and love it as you seem to as well. I did not buy it with the brush however. I apply it with my hands/fingers. I put a pumpful in my palm, rub hands together and apply as if it's my moisturizer. Goes on flawlessly. Then if I want to put a bit more on under my eyes and a couple of dark/age spots I put a little more on my finger tip and apply.

I suggest you try this and see if this doesn't better suit your application needs and don't use the brush. I also think you waste product using a brush with some items.

I've been reading alot about her brushes that are coming in these sets aren't up to par to her original brushes which many feel are fantastic. I think, like everything else, they are going on the cheap with the brushes in the sets now.

I would call customer service. I've only ever gotten their brushes in sets and have never had a problem.

the brushes are hit or miss. Some are awesome--others in TSV's are NOT of the same quality. No...less of quality in many brushes --esp. in TSV

Thanks for your comments, especially those that suggested that I contact CS. I really don't want to send the whole thing back but perhaps they will agree to replacing just the brush.

I don't normally use a brush for applying CC cream or foundation because it wastes so much product.

I would contact QVC and let them know you got a defective brush.

Yep, i've read and heard many complaints. They are not the same quality brushes she puts out individually.

Amen! Even IT's best brushes feel scratchy, coarse after Artis. However, OP should have her brush replaced. Somtimes the only reason for purchasing a set is to get the brushes.

Definitely contact customer service. It sounds like you just got a bad brush. I've ordered brushes recently and all ahve been great. I'm wondering if the one you received was actually just defective. On a side note, I've found that the CC cream applies best for me with a blending of my fingers rather than a brush. I've tried a few different foundation brushes, and though I like brushes with some foudnations, fingers seem to work best for this one for whatever reason. Maybe because it's a bit thicker?
