Has Bare Essentials Gone Bye-Bye?

It's been a long time since I've seen a B.E. show on QVC. The Faux Tan used to be a yearly TSV in the month of March, but I haven't seen one or any other B.E. TSV in quite a long time.

Does anyone know if they've left QVC for good? If they have, I'm very disappointed! I just loved the TSVs and never missed one.

The appearances are few and far between. It seems the line really took a nosedive once it was sold and Leslie was no longer making appearances as the vendor.

I do know they are going to have a Vita Liberata (sp?) sunless tanning TSV soon.

Thanks, LD. Every time I turn on QVC, all I see is It Cosmetics. It would be nice to have a B.E. show every now and then too for those of us that have been using that line for several years.

Thanks for the heads up about the upcoming tanning TSV. I just may try it.

I'm sorry to see it go as I have many favorites in the brand .I can and do buy it elsewhere, so that is one less thing that I buy from the Q. I did like when Leslie and Lisa did the shows. Good times.

Agreed. Actually, I did like when 'whomever' and Lisa did the shows. Such good times!

For me, after Leslie sold the company, it wasn't her leaving. It was the big, bulky plastic cases they used to make with only a little bit of makeup inside. The new host/vender seems really good.

BE is what introduced me to the Q! I'd never watched or purchased from a shopping channel but it was so hard to find BE back then-you either ordered from her store in San Fran or you ordered the infomercial! Wow-im aging myself i guess. I like Jessica, but i LOVED Leslie. I also remember getting little postcards in the mail about upcoming TSV! Sad to see these companies gobbled up and fundamentally changed. Still have lots of favorites tho.

I no longer wear the mineral foundation, but still enjoy some of the newer offerings like complexion perfector gel and serum concealer. Also love tarte, but where I think BE products stayed pretty true to Leslie's vision, Tarte has changed drastically since Maureens departure. Also loving Eve Pearl! My older skin needs more chemicals than it use to to look good i guess!

Bare Essentials was what started me on mineral makeup but when they changed the formula (without notification) my face broke out something awful! I made the switch to Everyday Minerals (online) and have been very happy with their products and CS. A wonderful company!
