Has anyone tried Skinn pore cleanser and take the weekend off cream?

I have the Skinn vacuum deep pore cleansing mask and love it, but I did just order the TTV from yesterday and the Skinn Cosmetics Pure Pore Detox Intense Extracting Cleanser 2 oz . I can hardly wait to try them. Many people seem to love the pore detox cleaner with dramatic results. I have these annoying blackheads on my nose that are small, because I really work hard to clean them each week, but I would love them to be gone! I use the Foreo Luna knock off on Amazon for $18 and the sonic spatula that will remove them without squeezing, but when I get them all clean, then sucker fill right back up even with cold water to close them and all of that. I just have oily skin and live in a hot and humid environment. My workplace does have A/C but it is limping along to death and costs 75K to replace. They are working on it since last summer when it totally died. I wore some Missha cushion foundation topped with IT Cosmetics powder foundation to set it. That worked great, but now the heat is horrible. I sweat it all off, so back to no makeup!

@Bowwowluv I have experience with both. The green tube, however, is not a cream. It is a pore detox cleanser. It's super effective. You only need to use it a couple of times a week, not every day, and results are even better with the AM & PM pore treatment products. I don't really have a problem with pores, but I have struggled with a little sebaceous hyperplasia. I went through two bottles of Paula's Choice BHA 9 (not cheap) and it hardly did a thing. I've been using the Skinn pore products mentioned, plus the Pore Detox Mask and after just a couple of weeks I'm seeing the start of improvement. The tube of cleanser isn't real big, but when using it only a few times a week it should last awhile.

The Take the Weekend Off Cream is nice, IMO. It's not as thin as a lotion, but not super thick either. It's a good consistency that works for all skin types. I've been using it for several months. Truth be told, I do what Dimitri does and still use my Age Reset Serum on the weekend, too, because it's such a great product and I love using it. It's nice to take the break from the regular routine on the weekend without feeling like there's any kind of setback.

Hopefully you'll see this before the deal on the duo is over. That's a great price.

I'm just reading your helpful reply, @JeanLouiseFinch and thought I'd make a suggestion on your use of the pore-reducing items. If you want to step up your progress, you can use the items daily until you get the desired results. Then spread the time out to maintain. One of the things I really like about this specialized grouping is how quickly results are obtained. HTH's

Thanks @Gokat. I wondered about doing that, but also wondered if that would dry me out at all or even cause more oil production. I'm only using the new products on my forehead, but use the pore detox mask all over once a week, just to keep everything in check, so to speak.

You don't need to worry about increased oil production at all with these nor increased dryness, @JeanLouiseFinch.

My suggestion is that you continue the mask once/ wkly.

Use the serums daily/nightly only on the areas you wish to treat.

If you don't already have, pick up some Pure Pore Hydro-Enzymatic Deep Pore Cleanser. This is the "marshmallowy" item you may have seen mentioned on Skinn threads and is the powerhouse of the grouping. Use this one as often as you like...spot apply to those areas needing attention. Personally, I think it works best to apply in the evening, rinse it off, follow with the PM serum. It extracts like nobody's business. 311-064 kit contains it and all the info you'll probably want to check out. It's super popular so I'm not surprised there's none at the bay right now, but D's selling it at Skinn.com for $18. HTH's

I'm back, @JeanLouiseFinch ! I was confused when reading your earlier post about your pore cleansing routine. I now see that you ordered 311-649 with the two serums and mask. There is another 311-645 kit containing the detox cleanser and weekend off cream. (I'm a little upset with Dimitri right now. Lol!) At the beginning of the video, Melissa questions the difference between the two kits. Please go have a looksee when you get a chance. I think you'll see why I was confused. These deep pore cleansing kits have ALWAYS contained a cleanser AND serum. The new formulations are expanded now to two serums. Just wanted to make sure you are aware of how the system is supposed to work for the best results. Not trying to push product on you.

Super thanks for the tips JLF and GoKat. My cleaner and TTV has shipped. I'm expecting them Thursday, so I will be all over it ASAP! Thanks for letting me know that it is to be used a few days a week. Otherwise I might get too dry where my eczema is at. I might also use it on just my problem areas and use regular cleaner on the other areas.

I posted this earlier for someone else, @Tigriss , so thought I'd bring it over for you as well. I know you'll love the cleanser. It works quickly so is an item I'm never afraid to recommend. It sounds like you're a perfect candidate for it! Please post back to us when you've had a chance to use it so we know how you're liking it.

"Apply to wet skin after cleansing as needed on congested areas. Apply with plenty of warm water to maximize effectiveness. use your fingers and massage as desired. Rinse off with warm water. Use daily to reach desired result and then as needed for maintenance."
