    <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't understand people getting insulted by a CS rep doing their job. I am sure they have rules to follow given to them by their employer QVC.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As for wanting discounted prices and not getting them, where is the cutoff point? If something you bought goes on sale 45 days later, 60 days later, 90 days later? That's why they make policies otherwise people would be calling them all the time and saying something they bought is now cheaper and they want a refund for the difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As an aside, yesterday when in Walgreens picking up a prescription, some girl walked over to the beauty counter and said she had a return for some makeup item. The salesgirl looked at the receipt and said this was purchase 6 weeks ago, was something wrong with it. The girl said no, I just decided I didn't like it. She got her refund. And of course, the salesgirl threw it into a bin for returns to be thrown away. That customer probably wore that makeup over and over and then wanted something new for spring and got a refund. Such a waste.!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ETA: Often when reading the complaints on these forums about CS I get the feeling that customers think QVC should honor any request they make or they will be called out on it, rude, insulting, discourteous, not helpful. Following rules and policies of a company is none of those things but it often seems people feel a sense of entitlement. How could a CS rep sitting in a call center do something like wait for someone to return something, then flag that item, and then send it to another customer who wanted the return when it came back to the warehouse (as was described in an earlier thread).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Insulting QVC Customer Service Response</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I emailed QVC customer service today to ask if I could receive a rebate on an item I paid full price for that was now on sale during Silver Style. I've asked for the sale price to be honored once in a blue moon and only on items purchased recently. I'd waited and waited for a bracelet I liked to go on sale and finally gave up and used EZ pay to buy it. I also gave it a great review!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I saw the sale price today I asked if QVC would give me a rebate for the sale price. Just so you know I was prepared to take no for an answer. Well, I received an email saying that since I'd bought the bracelet over 30 days ago &amp;nbsp;I culdn't get the rebate....BUT....I was welcome to return the item and purchase a new one for the sale price. Oh, and it had been a pleasure assisting me!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The email annoyed me off and on all day. Finally decided to vent here, If I couldn't get the rebate because the 30 days were up how was I going to return the over 30-day original purchase? Is this good business to tell a customer to return a used item for new? And how much $$ and time spent in the return and resend process for both me and the Q?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Candy&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You only have 30 days to return something. &amp;nbsp;I don't know how she would say to retrurn it now and repurchase the bracelet. &amp;nbsp;I have to say you can call and try to get another rep, but it's been over 30 days since the bracelet went on sale. &amp;nbsp;I don't think that the Q has an obligation to give you the difference in price. &amp;nbsp;Their policy is 30 days. &amp;nbsp;I would just move on with your life and go about your business. &amp;nbsp;I've had this happen to me once and I learned if it's a certain brand like Judith Ripka, I no longer purchase anything from her when it's new beccause if you wait a month or two it always goes on clearance. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I feel this could have been handled so much nicer by the c.s....if she felt its past 30 days and your bracelet was no longer able to received a refund on the difference ...she should not have suggested you return and buy again...you would have incured return shipping fees...and then shipping fees to get the new sent out....not a good choice for you...&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I guess i would like to know how past 30 days was your purchase...if only a few days or a week...c.s. should have given you the credit...if it was way longer then that...then your bracelet really didn't qualify for the credit...&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Next time ask to speak to a supervisor or call back a few hours later when you might get a differenct c.s....&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have returned things that are over 30 days, because I am still paying EZP on the item. &amp;nbsp;More than once. &amp;nbsp;So, I think you have 30 days from the last payment, but you may want to double-check on this. &amp;nbsp;However, I've done this off &amp;amp; on successfully over the past 10 years or so. &amp;nbsp;Not a lot, but when necessary. &amp;nbsp;So, I actually think the C/S rep was giving you a heads-up about that, which is a nice thing to do &amp;amp; not insulting, after all. &amp;nbsp;If this was the case. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000ff" size="3"&gt;To not be able to return after the 30 day deadline is not really true.&amp;nbsp; I emailed the Q just a few months ago about wanting to return something after the 30 days and received an email back indicating that I certainly still could make my return.&amp;nbsp; The only thing I was further informed of was that to not expect my s/h back which doesn't happen anyway. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000ff" size="3"&gt;I sent back what I wanted to return, received my credit. Done.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000ff" size="3"&gt;My suggestion, email the Q on the 'contact page' and don't talk to CS reps.&amp;nbsp; There are a million of them and you'll easily get a million different answers.&amp;nbsp; Not sure who of this company answers the emails but I also printed out my response and included it in my return.&amp;nbsp; No questions asked.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think their&amp;nbsp;CS for the most pasrt &amp;nbsp;are all very nice, the ones I'ev ever delt with anyway but I &amp;nbsp;don't think their CS has much of an exntended ability to do much of anything not even their supervisors. I had a situation once over a blouse that I had on wail list, well the wait list came though &amp;nbsp;and .when I received it and oppened the package they had sent me a tee shirt and the packing slip was addressed to someone else. I call right away and told them and they said they could see that, that the other women had called and she was sending the blouse back, it was on its way to them and for me to send the t-shirt back.&amp;nbsp; I asked if they would move me to the top of the wait list for the&amp;nbsp; blouse so when they received it back from her it would be sent to me and I was&amp;nbsp;told " oh no we have no way of doing that" so I asked to speak to&amp;nbsp;a supervisor&amp;nbsp;and she also said she didn't have the ability to do that&amp;nbsp;it would have to go through "Corp. HQ"&amp;nbsp;she &amp;nbsp;would have to put in a request in wrighting " .&amp;nbsp; I couldn't beleive my ears !!!&amp;nbsp; I at the time was a supervisor for a large tranportation Co. and&amp;nbsp;I had the ability to&amp;nbsp;move people on a wait list so I don;t know if she just didn't want to do it &amp;nbsp;or they really don't much authority to do anything but speak nicely !&amp;nbsp; Well it ended up that&amp;nbsp;I never did get the blouse, it must have "gone to the next person on the wait list" (whice of course wasn;t me)&amp;nbsp;and to be hosest to this day &amp;nbsp;it still irritates me when I think of it&amp;nbsp;so I wouldn't except to much from them.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think the CS service rep should have suggested returning and rebuging at all.&amp;nbsp; And that would not be insulting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OP had waited for her bracelet, ordered it herself without anyone twisting her arm, and, assuming she's an adult knowing that at some time in the future the bracelet could go on sale.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once a customer comes to CS and asks for a refund over the policy period and then comes here and brags about it --and yes, someone who has that happen will do that --then the polocy is no longer 30 days,&amp;nbsp; It's whatever that person managed to get.&amp;nbsp; Now the policy is, say 33 days - and yes, someone will be asking for at rebate at 35.&amp;nbsp; There's no end to this kind of stuff.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry OP felt insulted, but I'm not sorry she didn't get her refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have not bought from the Q in years, but I do order from HSN. I often get sale benefits, but they are always within the 30 day period. I dont know what they would answer if it were over the 30 days. But, best to call CS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;, you can call a few times, you will always get a different person, and you may hit a winner, worth a try.&amp;nbsp; How much over the 30 days is it??&lt;/P&gt;</description>
