Anybody ever try Just for Men beard to tint eyebrows?

I am just shy of 50 and very lucky that I still don't have any gray hair on my head. I guess I take after my father who didn't go gray until he was in his late 60s and at age 81 he is still only partially gray. But my eyebrows are starting to get gray and are just getting dull looking. I came across several videos showing how the Just for Men beard formula is a great solution for tinting brows. Has anybody ever tried this method?

I have.. it works ...i got the dark brown on closeout at target. And I am blonde with light eyebrows. It wasnt too dark and it didnt stain my skin. One tube will last a long time! I find that it fades pretty quickly so I do it like once a month. You can not beat the price - while you have it on you look crazy ...but it washes off easy!

Hi Sueeich: I hope you get replies on here, as I have the same question. I have read about it, but would like to hear from some who have used it for eyebrows.

I googled Just for men hair dye, and here's what I found. Yikes!!

wow! that is scary .... I have used for like 6 months. I am VERY fair with roseca. I feel like my skin is pretty senstive and have no issues.

I've been using JFM as eyebrow color for YEARS...without any issues.

I've even left it on for 15+minutes, by mistake...again, without issue.

Just mix a little up, dab on w/ a Q-tip...boom, done.

Pro: cheap...1 box lasts forever

Con: doesn't last very long...once-a-week application for me

I have for over two years. I luckily found about it on this board. You mix the color and activator, equal amounts, in an included tray with a brush that is also included. You don't need much since it Is just for the brows. Wash the tray and brush and you'll get several applications out of the product. Only leave on for 5 minutes and good to go for another 3-4 weeks. No issues for me either. When I mentioned to my hairdresser that I do that he said well, yeah. I thought I was telling him something he didn't know. Guess a lot of his clients use it too.

Yes, I use Just for Men for mustaches and beards to color the brows. Like others have said you mix up a small amount, a baby thumbnail of the color and developer mixed together is plenty.

I use an angled brow brush to apply the stuff and be precise about application as the darker brown shades can stain the skin so use a damp kleenex to wipe up the product from your skin outside the brow area. I do leave the product on for at least 15 minutes as I have coarse brow hair then I use a damp paper towel to wipe the stuff off. How long the color lasts I also think depends on what you use on your face and how often you wash your face but it's easy to do touch ups. Also use a 10x mirror when applying the dye to your brows to be precise.

Thank you to all who posted. I think it's worth a try. I do have a magnifying mirror that I bought from QVC, so I'll use that so I don't end up looking like a clown.

YES - Use this all the time - for several years. I use light brown - as I think it is darker than shown on box.

I use q-tip - mix pea size amount from each tube (in box) - and apply. (lasts forever...) I also use clean q-tip to remove any that is not on my brow hairs - to prevent staining. Wipe off and wash face or shower after. (I leave on for about 10 minutes-ish... it's pretty forgiving.) I also use extra on gray hair strands around face ... then shower/shampoo.

Just go slow. It stays in place well - easy-peasy. (and huge difference! ... what's with the gray brows anyway!!)

Wow, everyone! Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely going to try this. I found a You Tube Video from a makeup artist and she suggests using disposable mascara brushes to apply the dye. You can get a pile of mascara brushes on Amazon for close to nothing. I went on the Just for Men website and was able to get a $2 off coupon as well. I think this is a great solution to my problem. I purchased a brow product from Paula's Choice, but I really don't like it. It comes packaged like mascara and you brush it on your brows but it just didn't seem very natural-looking plus I was afraid it would start dripping. I live in Northern Florida and it can get very humid here. You makeup literally melts off your face in the middle of the summer so using dye on my eyebrows seems like the perfect solution. So excited!

I've been wondering about coloring brows. After my eye brows grew back in after chemo, they were nice and full. Felt like I hit the jackpot because they had been over plucked. Had them waxed for the first time, then I noticed a white hair. I plucked it. Then there was another. I knew I couldn't keep on plucking! I will give this a shot.

@masque - WOW, I had no idea there was an ongoing lawsuit. My husband used Just For Men on his brows and mustache and experienced all of these! Don't tell anyone, but now he uses dark brown mascara.

I have been using this for 10 years with no problems and I do have sensitive skin. I only leave it on 5 minutes though.

I too use a Q tip to apply. I just squirt out a tiny bit of each tube, mix with a tooth pick than apply with a Q tip and rinse off after 5 minutes, no problem.

I have heard of this too

i save old mascara wands and use them when I color my hair and color my brows, the color doesn't last very long though
