I was shopping at ULTA to day and looking at Malys products when a sales grl came up tome and told me that they may nolonger carry Mally'sproducts as she has filed for bankrupcy! I am SO upset! I have used Mally's products forever adn LOVE them. I have every color of shadow stick that she makes and I wear them every day. I can't live without her mascara. I am so upset about this! I wonder if QVC will still carry her products? Has anybody heard anything?

Yes, this happened about a year ago and the company has since been sold as of early or mid year last year, I believe it was. I am surprised your Ulta person hasn't been updated with the most current info!

Oh! Thank God. I assume they will still be selling Mally's products. I absolutely love her shadow sticks. They don't move once you put them on. I'm an ER nurse and that works great for me. Thank you so much. You have really relieved my mind! That girl at ULTA could'nt tell me a thing. Thank you!!!!

I believe the formula for the shadow sticks have changed. I tried a set of 5 (or was it 4?) of the new ones and they did not last like her old ones. It was very disappointing and I returned them (something I rarely do and don't do lightly). The formula for her volumizing mascara has changed as well and many people are really upset about it saying it is not nearly as good as it used to be. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

@racerrn- Unfortunately I can vouch for the change in mascara. Sadly it doesn't perform anything like the tried and true formula I too loved and was my "go to".... as is true for several of us, as @HappyDaze stated.

What really stinks is spending money chasing a replacement only to be

disappointed. At least that's been my experience thus far. A bummer,

Yes, when her company was up for bid, the ads said that she would stay on with an employment contract and still be the face of the company. I have not tried many of her new items like the H3 lippies. I bought a three pack of mascara at Ulta over the holidays. The first one I used was fabulous, and the second tube was dried up. When you get a good tube, it's amazing, but I hesitate to keep buying if the quality will now be inconsistent.

Based on what I'm seeing at Ulta, I think that her Face Defender is going to be introduced in a new, smaller size. I can live with that but not a formula change. I just stocked up on another original as they are once again disappearing. I should be good for about a year, lol.

That's so sad. I don't understand why IT cosmetics has the monopoly of makeup and skin care. I love Tarte and they are rarely on. I check for specific special pricing and flex pays daily and just received the lip crayons I think they are called. I got them all 4 for 28 dollars when one is 21 dollars on their website. Now it's no longer available at all. It's disappeared and had never been advertised. I think if you like a brand checking their deals alot is the best way to shop economically if you need to budget. Every time Mally has a special it sells out like lightening. I don't understand why they hardly have her on. It's just sad she filed bankruptcy and yet sells thousands of whatever she's promoting the same time she's on. Maybe she's too busy with movie stars to sell makeup?

Doesn't it seem like when companies are sold, they slowly disappear off of QVC? Bare Minerals, Tarte, Mally. I don't know, it is like the kiss of death. But usually that is probably due to the fact that they often change their formulas once they sell out. Also, for someone like me, if they sell out to a company that tests on animals (like BM and Tarte did) I no longer buy their products.

It is all about the sales and $$. The companies that are selling the most get the most air time and are the ones profiled and pushed most often. While I personally don't feel IT is on so much more than other beauty products as to consider them monopolizing, the fact is that they must be bringing in the most money. QVC is a business- what sells the most is what gets promoted the most.

I understand the business aspect but in a while not everyone will be buying It cosmetics. It is a new brand so the sales are likely from new customers. I tried it and would never buy anything from them again. I think in a while the sales will taper down because personally I don't think the products are the best or priced well. I find their shows a bit fake. It's cakey goopy stuff and not naturally bringing out anyone's best them lol 😁. But hey I think all the power to the Q and It cosmetics for selling alot of makeup and being number one!

Well and when it does, something else will take its' place. That is how business works. I don't think anyone believes any one company will stay on top in terms of sales indefinitely. And it isn't that new- IT has been around for 8 years now and I believe about 6 years on QVC. I personally do not like IT cosmetics but many do.
