I am really happy with my 61 year old skin but really hate the vertical lip lines I have. I know injections are the best remedy but not willing to do this yet or if ever.

What product does anyone have success with to help fill them in, blur a bit or help with them? I put a Tarte primer after my foundation which helps blur a bit but need something else.

I think on All Day Beauty they talked about Hope in a Tube to help fill this in. Anyone use this or anything else?

TIA

@Theresa1121 Along with your face, your lips need regular exfoliation, too. Skinn makes a lip scrub called Sugar Lips that's very good for this, but you could easily use a mix a of a little superfine granulated sugar with some coconut oil to accomplish the same thing. I'd also recommend Skinn Lip Stem Rejen. It's technically intended for marrionette lines and nasolabial fold lines. I rub it in around the entire mouth area so it also gets on my lips a little bit. Then I use either the Skinn Lip 6x Serum or Lip 6x Balm as a last step in skincare. I'm close to your age and have no lip issues.

I read in another thread here that a clear lipliner (e.l.f. lip lock was mentioned as being effective and inexpensive) before applying your regular lipliner and color helps. I found a Mary Kay clear lipliner on eBay and ordered it but I can't comment on its effectiveness because it hasn't arrived yet.

I have vertical lip lines and so does my mother, it's genetic and we're not smokers.
So here is what I'm using after much searching...
I cleanse with gentle cleansers(still looking/trying these) to not over-dry skin.
Exfoliate skin with Dermappeal especially the lip/mouth area as often as needed/frequently. I can't use it as often since I started using CB.
CONSULT Beaute Retinol Trio at night. It works very well and is pretty powerful so use it however it works for your skin. Alternate nights or a couple of times a week if you need to. .I use it everynite and after it has absorbed for several hours I apply JM Argon Oil over my face & neck massaging it in to the lip/mouth area
SOMETIMES add some spot-treatment from Isomers..
DAYTIME - gentle non-drying cleanser
Spot-treat with Isomers Problem-Solver serums- Matrixyl 20% and Expression Line are good for the lip lines.
I apply JM Tinted SPF Moisturizer and spot-treat the lip area with the JM ARGON Oil/Isomers whenever this area looks dry or lines appear more visible.
This routine has helped tremendously and it's been a trial & error process and still is but I've seen more improvement with this routine than any others. It has also helped my neck.
A couple of months ago I started looking for diffetent products because the ones I was using were producing mediocre results. I stopped using most of them and have been going to Ulta & Sephora for samples. The CB and Isomers are sold on Evine and I've been adding the JM products from Sephora. My skin looks better than it has for a long while. HTH!

Iam always searching for what works best for my skin issues but right now I'm very happy with this routine.

Sorry, I should have specified that the problem are the lines above my top lip. Just geting more pronounced and odd that no other reall wrinkles or crows feet. Some deep 11s and one deep line on one eyebrow but just can't handle these puckered looking lips. Ugh.
