I went through a week again without using up anything . What did you use up?

Tova Nights Bath Powder 3oz-'love this, another in the stash

Threw out- one old lipstick and one leaking lip gloss

A sample tube of CereVe Eye Cream, I liked this!

Another travel sized bottle of Aloe Vera

A pot of Maybelline 24 Hour Tattoo eyeshadow, I used this as a shadow and sometimes as eyeliner, will purchase again. It dries out but took forever to do so! I have had more expensive pot gel creams that dried up far sooner!

Used up:

Bareminerals Mineralixirs Cleansing Oil deluxe mini - Got this in a set and really liked it so I bought the full size. Unfortunately it's now discontinued... That's ok, by the time I use up the full size, there will be something new I will want to try.

Tossed:

NYX Dark Circle Concealer Light - Tried this as a dupe for Pixi Peach Brightening concealer but it was a much drier consistency. Then I stopped using it out of pure laziness and did not miss it. Now it's old. I will not repurchase it or anything like it for a while.

Soapwalla Deodorant Cream - Wanted to try going more natural. Didn't like rubbing it on with my hands. Going au natural now.

@Chisos, so you like SS's eye cream? I tried it but I had trouble getting it to absorb into the skin around my eyes. What types of changes did you see with her eyecream? TIA

I finished off an old, old tube of Erno Lazlo's Beta Purifying Mask. I do think it helps with acne and may repurchase someday but I have four other types of masks I want to finish off before purchasing anything new.

I threw out samples of the following perfumes as they are all too strong for me: Flowerbomb, Bottega Veneta EDP, Prada Amber & Donna Karan Liquid Cashmere Black.

I gifted to my daughter three Korres body creams as they just are not hydrating enough for my dry skin.

I FINALLY just used up my PC Resist Retinol Serum after using it faithfully every night for the past 8 months, at least 2 pumps each night!! How can 1 oz last that long? i thought it would never run out!! Now I have a 2 oz Dr. Denese serum to use up, so that should take 2 years or so. How can I keep buying all the things I want to try at this rate?? Hahahaha

@UMDTerpFan. Hi - yes I like the SS products. The eyecream hydrates and firms. Softens lines. I spray my face & neck with the Calming Toner and pat it around my eyes before I apply the eyecream. I love the Calming Toner, it's one of my favorite products. Anyway I've used & re-ordered SS for several years now. HTH

I use the same products day after day, year after year .... borrrrring

Used Up:

Avalon Organics Vitamin C Serum - this time replaced with the AO Vit C Cream. I love them both, but with the Cream I don't need to wear a separate moisturizer over the serum.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser -- cut open the tube and scraped out all I could! Absolutely love this stuff so replaced with same.

BBW Ultra Shea Body Cream in "Cashmere Glow". Replaced with same in "Joy" fragrance because CG was discontinued. Again, totally love the Shea Body Creams and use every morning without fail.

Tossed:

Skinn Intellitint CC Cream. The tube said "Light" but the product was really dark. That's what I get from ordering makeup on Ebay.

@Chisos, thanks for your reply. How long have you been using her eye cream? I'm wondering if there has been any change in the formulation over the past three years. Do you think that the calming toner helps the product absorb & moisturize your eyes better? Do you have any issues with dark circles and if so, have you noticed any improvement? TIA

@UMDTerpFan - I think I've been using the SS for about 2 years - as far as I know there's been no formula change during that time.
To answer your question about the Calming Toner - Yes, I think it makes everything I use work better. I am addicted to this toner - it is called a Calming Toner but if you read the description of it on Evine it says it preps the skin to better utilize products and for me it does that and works the best I've ever tried. I order the toner by itself when I get low on this product - won't be without it.

@UMDTerpFan - I forgot to tell you that I ordered the new SS Firming Kit. I do like the eyecream in this kit, but the older one is more hydrating. I think at this point if I had to pick one it would be the older one.

Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM- really like this serum. Have others to use up in stash before a repurchase. Opened up StriVectin Overnight Facial Resurfacing Serum.
