Suggestions for a creamy eyeliner pen/pencil

I have discovered that I am allergic to the Clinique liner pencil w/sponge blending tip I've used for a few years and need to find something else.

I like something creamy that I can blend, available in a variety of shades, and is easily removed at the end of the day.

Don't want to spend a lot, either.

Your suggestions would be appreciated!

I've had really good luck with Laura Geller INKcredibles. Fortunately, for me, I was able to buy her big set on her website and I had a coupon code. After looking at an Avon brochure the other day, I'm kind of wondering about their Glimmersticks eyeliners

Based on the recommendations I learned in the Beauty forum, I've been using

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner pencil for a while and I like it.

It goes on smooth and there's time to smudge before it "sets".

It costs less than five dollars and comes in a variety of colors too.

I like creamy liners too, so I look forward to reading the replies. My faves are L'Oreal and Urban Decay.

@Lyttlewyng Is this an automatic or do you have to sharpen it?

You need to sharpen it.

Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner Pencil, both the regular and waterproof versions.

Reasonably-priced and easy to apply. 8)

Mally's are creamy, but if I don't use eye primer and powder eyeshadow I can see some under my eye at the end of the day. (She had a trio on today for $21.) Same with Laura Geller I Care, but it is less creamy than Mally's. Laura's Inkcredible lasted better, but they're the least creamy of the three I mentioned.

I have several I use and love. I use daily on my top lid the LG eye rimz in plum like it hot. I also use her $12 eye rimz brush to apply this. Using it wet it lasts 12 to 14 hours on me and using it dry it still lasts a good 8 hours.

Also for top I do like both the Rimmel Scandaleyes chubby lining pencil as well as the Ulta chubby liner pencil. Both are similar, both last. I like the certain colors in each. Both have s smudge sponge on the other end.

For bottom lining I use only Korres eye lining pencils and yes, have to sharpen them. I get a set of 5 at HSN for think it is $29.

I agree that Mally's eyeliners are very creamy too. These go on with no tugging or pulling and have great staying power, great colors too.

Sounds like Mally's version is worth trying. I didn't have to sharpen the Clinique liner, as it sharpened itself as you twist up for more product. Seems to me that if something is creamy enough, sharpening wouldn't be necessary. To me, sharpening denotes a harder product and that's not what I want.

You've all made good suggestions!

Too bad I can't continue with the Clinique but something in the formulation now irritates my eyes. On the days when I don't use eyeliner my eyes are just fine. When I do use it, the eyelid rims are red, itchy, and my eyes burn. Not a good look LOL

@LonestarBabs, I would recommend Laura Geller Inkcredibles and Sephora Diamond Eyeliner. I just discovered the Sephora liners last week and they wear beautifully. Each one is black based with a hint of colored sparkle. Such as Canary is black with gold sparkle. Don't be frightened by the sparkle it is not over the top glitter. These are roll up applicators. Love love love!

Skinn has one of the best eyeliners I've found lately. I wear them daily. The fat chubby Eye Smudge sticks. No irritants. Creamy and easy to line. Staying power. Good shades & you can do your eyes any way you like. Really really good. And the prices are good, too. I've tried all of the others, too.

I like Mally's eye shadow sticks or Bobbi Brown's eyeliner gel. I've read good reviews about the Flower line by Drew Barrymore at WalMart. Flower is suppose to be a good dupe for the more expensive lines and priced more reasonably.

The only pencil I have found for the last 10 years that I can wear sucessfully is called "Mineral Fusion." It is sold at Whole Foods and online. I can't say that it stays perfectly in place, but it doesn't irritate. I use "coal." HTH

Covergirl perfect point plus. I've used it for a while and really love it. It sounds like it fits exactly what you're looking for.
