SKINN body balm extreme question

Do they ever make this in different scents? I honestly am not a fan of the scent but it does work well, although in the colder months it has been really hard and gritty so I have to really emulsify it in my hands before applying it! This is typical of products with coconut oil but this product doesn't contain it so I am not sure why it does this- maybe the shea butter? What other oils/butters hardened up in colder weather like coconut oil? I think the ingredients in this product is really nice, just would love to have it offered in other scents or more of an unscented version.

Hey there @HappyDaze! I believe that the body balm extreme is the only product of its kind...I know it is not "scented" per se with fragrance...it is the oils in it (cocoa especially) that give it that scent...I always have to emulsify it in my hands as it is hard and gritty (that would be the shea butter, I think) I wouldn't mind him adding some other fragrant oil to it for a differrent scent but I use this body balm extreme in baths (a heaping tablespoon in hot water!) and used to use it on my feet before the Foot Balm came about...

I prefer his body creme texture (like the Santorini one) better than the body balm extreme but if I have really dry patches I love to use bbe on them (like elbows,knees,etc) HTH's

@Krissy_1968 hi! Yes, it says "natural fragrance" in the ingredient list. not sure what natural fragrances it includes but my husband thought "bananas and vanilla" lol! That is how he described the scent. Anyway, even if he took that out, I think it will be less scented as the butters and stuff in it don't really have much scent to them normally. I do prefer the body butter consistency but the BBE is really nice for these cold months. My skin is staying super soft and smooth and no itchiness (wood stove heating makes the air so dry in the house), yay! Thanks for the info!

The Body Balm Extreme is one of my favorite SKINN products. I like the scent and use it everywhere, even frequently on my face. You are right HappyDaze it is a unique, awesome product.

I just looked at mine...yes it does say natural fragrance...I always assumed it was a scent from the butters themselves..well we need to put the word in we want some new scents...any ideas? I didn't get banana from mine but that is a good thing...it would just make me hungry lol

This was one of my least favorite products.

100% pure sells very similar products. They were originally offered on the Q but now are on Evine.

I buy directly from the 100% pure site. Sign up for email notifications as they always have sales. They sell body balms that are very much like the Skinn product only better. I like the Intensive Healing Balm.

I actually am not a fan of the 100% pure products I've tried, sorry. I do like Nubian Heritage shea butter body balms/butters and Shea Terra Organics shea balms/butters alot though. I like the SKINN one too, just not the scent so much.

I ordered it. I was totally hit, and nauseated, by the scent as soon as I cut open the box.

Wow I think you must have GREAT sense of smell to smell it still in the box as I can hardly smell it when I bring the container close to my nose...nauseated? yikes! well glad many of us don't feel the same...I did get his Lotus Love collection from his site and I can say I am not "in love" with the scent...it is very green and that is not my fave scent palette...I may gift it or use it and cover the green scent with other scents I have...but I understand scent is such a personal issue...hope you can return it or sell it on the bay...

I have to say the body extreme is the best out of the shea butters I've purchased because it hardly has an odor to it.. It makes your skin nice and soft for a long time after use. I haven't found a product better then the one skinn produces. How anybody could get nauseated from the smell before it's out of the box is baloney!!!! You can not smell it before it's opened out of the box.

Hm strange- it isn't that strong, at least for me. I certainly could not smel it before opening up the container Are you sure you are talking about the extreme body balm and not the Santorini scented stuff?
