Is 11 years too young to wear invisalign?

My DS is 11 years old and he has malocclusion. He doesn’t want to go to school with metal braces as he thinks everyone will make fun of him. So I prefer invisible invisalign braces for my DS but I’m not sure will it work for him. I'm planning to take my DS to Clearbrook Dental Clinic in Oshawa. But before going there I thought of asking here my doubts. Is he a good candidate for putting braces? How long will he need to wear the braces? Will there be any need of tooth extraction for him as he already have gap between his teeth?

Honestly only your DS's dentist and orthodontist can really tell you if he is a good candidate since he/she is privy to your DS's dental records and are the only people qualified to make those decision . No one on an anonymous forum could tell you if there will need to be extractions as we are not dentists or orthodontists nor have access to your DS's xrays.

Please get a second opinion . If he is a mild case not involving palate expander or other growth related issues he can have Invialine. But he well can be a pretty complicated, so please have your child evaluated again.
