I have sensitive skin that's dry in winter, oily or combo in summer, and gets dry flaky patches when it's irritated or I'm on some kinds of medications. I found that the Paula's Choice cleansers are too drying for my skin. Although I have and love many PC products, I do not use the PC cleansers. I've found oil cleansers work best for me when my skin is dry, sensitive, OR oily. I've experimented with quite a few and the one I like right now is the Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil. It's fragrance-free, easy to use, available at drugstores, and leave my skin clean and free of dry patches and irritation.

Do you think this cleanser would be too harsh if you also have sensitive dry areas? Thanks

Thank you Chynna Blue. I've never tried using an oil cleanser before. I always thought that it would make the slightly oil areas even more oily. It's difficult with combo skin to find a cleanser that works. Thanks again for your reply.

I don't use PC cleansers either, but the two lines that are touted as being good for sensitive skin are Skin Recovery (for normal to dry/very dry skin) and Hydralight (for normal, combo, or oily skin)

I'm a huge fan of PC, except for their cleansers. My face just never feels clean. I have dry, sensitive skin that reddens easily. I use Dr. Young's Camilla oil cleanser and Purity Made Simple. Usually Purity in the morning and Dr. Young's at night.

I've used all of PC's cleansers and I don't think any are harsh. I have very dry skin and all of her cleansers dry out my skin even more. I can't use them at all.

Even her moisturizers for very dry skin do nothing for my dry skin.
