Becca Matte products

I spent some money at Sephora today on Becca Matte products. I am in my early 50s with extremely oily acne prone skin - been that way since teenage years. I look oily within an hour of applying makeup. Sometimes I blot or powder or both. I have tried lots of products but nothing really helps.

Anyway after lots of research and reading tons of reviews on various sites I decided to try their Ever Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, Ever Matte Shine Proof Foundation, and Under Eye Brightening Perfector. I was color matched at the store. I have a special event tomorrow so it will be interesting to see if these products make a difference.

Update:

I followed the directions and let my SPF sit a few minutes. Then I patted on the primer. I could tell immediately that it was absorbing oil so that was good I thought. Then I applied the foundation quickly as directed. When I looked in the mirror I could see the foundation sitting on my skin catching every pore and hair. This was a regular mirror - no magnification. It was not a good look.

I washed my face and this time used just the foundation without the primer but got similar results. I ended up washing again and applying my Olay CC instead.

This is morning I used my Olay CC and then patted the Becca primer on top of it just on my forehead. That seemed to work better and absorb shine.

ETA: If anyone uses Beeca Matte and has tips for application let me know. Right now it looks like I will be returning the foundation to Sephora.
