dimitri's shampoo- updated review

I had the little sample packets but not the shine product. So just going on the packets-I loved this shampoo and conditioner.

I just used it as an ordinary s/c, and got two uses out of the packets and wa Wowed! by the results. I actually posted about this when I tried it.

I just watched the video where Dimitri explains how t use it like a WEN product. using a lot, rinsing a lot, two applications, rinsing.

anyway, I used it as a regular s/c, used a little, used one application, and rinsed, conditioner, rinsed and got fabulous shiny bouncy - the whole shabang- commercial running through fields hair.

so don't let that info deter you if you want to try it. It worked just great for me as a regular s.c, with a typical one wash =, conditioner rinse application.

I so want to buy the TTV, but I just don't want the skin care products. don't know if I will cave!

In the video revie on the site, it seems like the directions for use indicate it is a wen like product.

there are no sulfates or silicones

@winamac1 There are two bottles - shampoo and conditioner. Dimitri stated last night that there are no sulfates, no silicones, no animal derived products, and is cruelty free. The protein is plant-based. I've used the shampoo and conditioner samples from my July TTV purchases and really like how my hair responds. I pre-ordered two of today's TTV's and am seriously considering ordering more today. I have not tried the shine spray. There's a little lather with the shampoo, but nothing like traditional shampoos. It rinses easily.

Thanks-I dvr'd the presentation, and I was interested. I just can't use cleansing conditioners. I have to have a shampoo. I don't want sulfates or silicones, but if this isn't a cc, I'm buying it. I just hope it's a gentle shampoo. I was excited to learn the spray didn't have cones it in either--that's a plus. It seems like a great product. Ijust hope it cleans and isn't like WEN. I'm allergic to WEN as it caused buildup on my scalp and made my dermatitis worse. THANKS

@winamac1I don't get the sense the shampoo is a Wen type cleanser-it's a shampoo with a separate conditioning product. Hope D expands the line to include a deep conditioner, oil treatment--given his fab skincare oils, and some styling products like a mousse.

I used the samples and was very pleased. I used it like ordinary shampoo/conditioner. I ordered two sets and I'm thinking about ordering a third. I won't use the skincare so I'll sell it on eBay.
