Julep nail polish review

Since I can never have enough nail polish variety...............

I bought a few shades of Julep polishes.

I have to say I am VERY disappointed! Especially for the $$$.

I really dislike the super thin bottle and one little shake or wrong tap and it falls over ?!?!?

It has chipped or peeled off half of my nails in 3 days, I am used to getting at least a week wear time out of a manicure.

I have tried it a few different times over the last month and every time the same results. grrrrrrr garbage can!

Frustrating! I have read poor reviews about Julep so I haven't purchased it yet....your review firms up my decision to avoid it, I love Butter! That is a polish that I personally feel is worth the price. I'm an Essie/OPI lover. I'd like Essie a little more if they'd use a wider brush like OPI, but j still like the quality of most Essie polishes I buy.

I have the BEST luck with Essie! Especially with their new Gel Setter top coat- I can go 10 days easily. A far cry from 3 days with Julep.

I'm actually glad that Julep isn't tempting because I am a nail polish addict and can always find Essie and OPI on sale for $5-7....if I got hooked on Julep it would be a problem! I keep coming close to buying one of the sets from Q but the reviews were so mixed...your post came just in time!

I will try the Essie Gel top coat. I currently use Seche Vite and Out the Door top coats, but love Essie...even the Essie Rdige filler is a huge favorite for me. I wear it alone a lot of the time! Then after a day or two I get bored with it and apply a couple coats of a color on top.

I also like Nails Inc and am considering the Kale trio. I like that pink....

I was a maven for awhile. I do not think the polish is any better or worse than comparable lines. They were worth the price in bundles or specials but my girl hated the bottle (always tipping) and it held less than most other brands. I would never pay full price for a bottle.
