A couple of question for ya'll who have used Tan Towels please.

I used Tan Towels last night for the first time. This was my first time using any self tanning actually. I am bone white by the way.

I exfoliated before hand but am still having a few issues. I did my arms and face, my face actually looks great, no orange just a lovely light tan color and no streaks there. My arms though I didn't do so great. My upper arms are good but my forearms have several areas near the underside where bone white lines are not covered. Also I totally messed up where my wrists go into the palms. And the top of my hands are terrible I assume because I washed my hands immediately after and some washed off.

So, what do I do now? Do I take a towel and just try and fill in the white lines, or do I go over everywhere again?

And how do I ever get smooth color on the backs of my hands if I have to wash my hands to not have tan palms?

I really like the color but I don't want to be two tone.

Once I get this corrected, for the future how often do you reapply to maintain the tan? Do you wait until it starts to fade before reapplying or not?

Also how do you exfoliate before the next application without splotching everything?
