I recently was on a quest for the same thing. Michael as I love the coverage of It cc cream, it's too yellow for my skin tone so, I tried cover girl's bb cream in light -med.which is the right shade and provides moisture for my dry combo skin. It doesn't cover much so I use physician's formula super bb stick under my eyes & for spot coverage. It works great for me. Hoping to see new shades from It cc cream. Also physicians formula has a nude wear foundation which is an all in one. It gives a nice finish. PP runs on the dark side so I use light and it's just right for me.

I don't know if this will work for you but I have a couple of inexpensive things which work pretty well for me. I have mature skin, very sensitive and Rosacea, so I sure know what you are talking about. You want coverage but you don't want every line or wrinkle accentuated.

Sometimes I do this: Intead of foundation, I will first apply my moisturizer and allow to soak it. Then, I use Cover Girl stick concealer -- CG Smoothers. I dot in on in all my bad spots --- which for me --- is practically my whole face --- tapping and smoothing lightly. If you need a little more in some areas, you can re-dot. Then, I use Physician's Formula Mineral Power ---this is in a compact. I use it with a smooth powder applicator that you just buy at the drug store (like 3 in a pack) and not a brush - which tends to disturb the concealer. This gives decent coverage.

At other times, I use Cover Girl BB Cream. It is nice because it is moisturizing and you can skip one step. But it does not have great coverage. So, after applying this, I let set for a few minutes and then once again, use my trusty Cover Girl stick concealer --- tapping and smoothing. Then, apply the Physician's Formula Mineral Powder--- lightly.

Hope these things help you!

Revlon Colorstay whipped creme makeup offers good coverage and a lovely finish. Usually a creme foundation is a good choice for mature skin.

I suggest for you to use Its Cosmetics. The special value of the day which was i think a week or so ago .. called Its All About You... Great coverage with the foundation , you also get Bye Bye Pores, a a bronser, highlighter and a cheek blush... The color is just perfect. I have med skin and went with tan and it was just the right shade. Your face don't feel dirty at the end of the day either. Natural looking but does the coverage. Hope you will give this a try.

I agree with you about the IT line. I find the CC+ cream is excellent for my over-60 complexion. I also use Bare Minerals because sometimes, you want less coverage. Both work very well.

I used to use Estee Lauder Resilience Lift. If you want a "high end" or at least department store priced brand, I found that was a very good product--many color choices and the finish was soft and luminizing. But it's not cheap. The TSVs for IT provide a lot of product at a good price and the Face Disk is one of those grab-and-go products; bronzer, blush and highlight all in one place.

I am 69 with fair, dry skin, no blotches or big issues, some fine lines. I love Estee Lauder Perfectionist serum foundation - a little goes a long way, it gives a flawless dewy finish, and is buildable for areas where you need more coverage.

I also got the It TSV mentioned here, and I like it a lot too. I'm not that fond of powder foundations, so I still add just a drop or two of the EL first, smooth that in and dust on the It foundation very lightly. This looks amazing, lasts all day, and doesn't settle into lines. It also sort of sets the little bit of liquid foundation I put on first (over serum and moisturizer w/sunscreen).

I am very happy with this It TSV, the colors are nice (I got it in the FAir), brush is great, compact with the convenient blush/bronzer/powder/highlighter is excellent. The concealer is a bit on the industrial strength side for me, but a tiny bit warmed first on the back of my hand and then dotted in the dark areas by eyes works very well.

You have to play around with foundation from season to season too as you get older to see what works. Right now it is warm and humid and I need less moisturizing than in the winter.

Sometimes I just wear a little concealer on my broken capillaries. I can wear a setting/finishing powder and e.l.f. has one SPF and it is beautiful -- so finely milled and only $6.

I don't care for liquid foundations, I feel like my skin is suffocating. I've been using Laura Geller B&B for years now, and find it works well for my normal skin. If I want more coverage in some areas, I just shorten the brush and dot it over whatever I want to cover. It's so easy, and doesn't settle in lines or pores, I love it. By the way, I'm 80 and still get compliments on my skin.
