I bought some nice crystal glasses at the thrift shop. They are very pretty and hold them nicely. I have the short ones in a wine glass and the longer ones in a taller glass.

I'm re-doing my little stand (a white 3-tiered cart) that holds my make-up & hair products and am looking for something cuter to hold my brushes. Right now I have the shorter ones in an old cup & the taller ones in a pencil cup from the dollar store. Have gotten a few ideas from Pinterest. So what do you use to hold your brushes? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have been using a pencil cup, as well. This seems to work just fine except for the dual ended brushes.

For the majority of them, I use a couple of Longaberger 1 pt. crocks. I do have an IT stand that came with a brush set. The dual tipped (I only have a couple of them) go in one of my Muji drawers.

One of the Sedona Lace synthetic brush sets I bought came with one of those travel cup holders that are two separate cups that you can combine when traveling. I keep my bigger brushes in one of the cups, and my smaller ones in the other. Whatever cup you use, though, it's much more convenient, IMO, than other storage options.

I like that I can just wipe them off well with a slightly damp cotton square after using and put them brush up in the holder.

I keep the current makeup brushes that I'm using in a wooden pencil organizer that's round and that spins like a lazy susan. It has 6 dividers to hold 6 brushes. The makeup brushes that are duplicates and that aren't being used are stored in fabric zip cases designed for makeup brushes. ELF has a nice black zippered case that holds a lot of brushes.

I picked up a bunch of short, heavy clear glasses at Target a couple years ago. They were fity cents or a dollar each. Just what I needed! I keep single ended brushes in one of them. Lipsticks in another, etc.

The double ended brushes that I use regularly are flat on my glass top makeup vanity right next to the glass with the other brushes.

Trish McEvoy planner. The planners have a plastic protective area in the back with little pockets for your brushes. The plastic protects the planner from any fallout or residue from your brushes and keeps the planner clean. The pockets hold 1-3 brushes at a time and eye pencils, mascara, eyebrow pencils, tubes of mu, etc.

Thanks for all the great ideas. Tried a couple of round containers from a hobby store & glued a teal ribbon (in 2 rows) to the outside. They ended up not being wide enough & one was too tall for my short brushes. Today I was at Goodwill & ended up with 2 unmatched wide-mouth pretty glass jars. I got some floral stickers from the craft section of a local hardware & channeled my inner "craft-girl" (I absolutely NEVER do anything craft-wise, as I'm all thumbs). They are so stinking cute!! Look terrific on my newly re-done make-up table (now all turquoise matching plastic containers from the dollar store). I get so many great ideas from you guys--thanks again.
